Cave of Unknow(part 1)

Vergil immediately commanded the Servo Skull to assist him in donning his Terminator Armor. The iconic gear was heavy but familiar—like a second skin that protected him from both physical and psychic threats. As the Servo Skull floated quietly, helping secure each thick segment of armor, Vergil's mind kept turning over the vision he had just experienced.

Once fully suited in his Terminator Armor, Vergil approached the tactical table in the corner of his quarters. Spread out before him was a holographic map of Titan, the sacred fortress of the Grey Knights. His hand carefully touched a section of the map displaying a remote area near the Citadel of Titan, a place that resembled the cave he had seen in his vision. Though not yet certain, he had a strong feeling that this location held more significance than mere coincidence.

Meanwhile, Grand Master Caddon Varn moved swiftly to meet with the council of Grand Masters. His face remained calm, but his mind was filled with questions. The sudden surge of psychic power they had sensed earlier was incredibly strong, yet strangely, there was not a trace of Warp corruption—something almost unheard of in their vast experience.

Upon entering the council chamber, the other Grand Masters were already assembled, each watching Varn with keen interest. Without wasting time, he began to explain the surge of energy he had felt, as well as Vergil's involvement.

"This power is unlike anything we've encountered," he stated firmly. "No corruption, no influence from Chaos. It's pure... as if it comes from a much higher source."

The Grand Masters exchanged glances, each understanding the implications of his words. Psychic power untouched by the Warp was nearly impossible to find in a galaxy plagued by war and corruption, unless it originated from the Emperor himself or some ancient, long-hidden force.

"I believe this is no coincidence," Varn continued. "The vision that Vergil experienced suggests this is more than just an energy spike. I feel we are being called to discover something—something that could be crucial to our fight against Chaos."

"Are you sure about this?" one of Grand Master ask

"Did we already forget about him? The Emperor Talon send him here, since beginning i suspecting this.... Emperor choose him as our champion against Chaos." Grand Master Caddon Varn

"Yes we remember it, even he said he meet the Emperor him self by dream." other Grand Master said.

"I let him investigating what on his dream, from what i get it still on Titan." Grand Master Caddon Varn Said.

"Very Well than.... There is nothing to talk again, this counsel is dismiss." Grand Master Aidan Perdon said, and all of them immediately back to their place

Vergil swiftly departed from the Citadel of Titan, carrying his Nemesis Force Spear and a Storm Bolter mounted on his left arm. With the map in hand and the guidance from his dream—a vision granted by the Emperor of Mankind—Vergil set off with determination.

As he made his way through the corridors, several Grey Knights, sensing something unusual, attempted to stop him, their faces filled with concern. They questioned his sudden departure, knowing the risks of venturing outside the Citadel without proper authorization. But before tensions could escalate, Grand Master Caddon Varn appeared, his presence commanding instant respect.

"Brother Vergil goes with my and Counsel approval," Grand Master Varn declared, his voice calm yet authoritative. The assembled Knights immediately stepped aside, allowing Vergil to continue his mission unchallenged. With the path cleared and the Grand Master's blessing, Vergil knew that this journey was of critical importance—one tied to the Emperor's will.

Vergil moved with purpose, knowing that whatever awaited him outside the Citadel was not just a relic of the past, but something destined to shift the balance in the war against Chaos.

On the surface of Titan, Vergil immediately set out to locate the site from his vision. Recalling both the map and the dream he had received, he knew the location was to the southwest of the Citadel of Titan. The terrain was harsh and unforgiving, typical of the Moon of Titan, but Vergil moved forward with unwavering resolve.

Dante, his trusted Servo Skull, floated alongside him, scanning the environment for any anomalies. Despite the desolation of the moon's surface, Vergil remained alert, ever aware that the landscape itself could hide dangers—whether from hostile forces or the treacherous environment.

As he trekked toward the distant landmark, Vergil's mind replayed the vision. The cave, the spear, and the Emperor's presence all seemed to push him onward. The journey was long, but every step felt guided, as if the Emperor's will was leading him toward something greater. Vergil knew that finding this place could reveal a hidden power crucial to their fight against Chaos.

With the Citadel now far behind, he continued westward, ready to face whatever awaited him in the depths of Titan's unforgiving wilderness.

As Vergil advanced, something caught his eye—a symbol etched into a stone half-buried in the barren ground. It was the unmistakable two-headed Aquila, the emblem of the Imperium. Vergil knelt down, brushing away the dust and debris, revealing more of the stone beneath. The symbol immediately stirred memories of the vision he had received. He recalled that the entrance to the cave in his dream bore the same Aquila symbol, and his thoughts raced with possibilities.

Could this be the entrance to the cave? Was this a forgotten part of the Citadel's history, or perhaps something far older?

Vergil pondered whether something significant had occurred when the Citadel of Titan was first constructed. Could there be a hidden vault beneath the surface, a relic from the time of the Emperor's Great Crusade? His mind raced as he recalled his early training—tales of the Emperor's campaigns during the Great Crusade in M30. The Emperor had sought to unite humanity and reclaim the galaxy, and the first worlds to join the Imperium had been those closest to Holy Terra. Mars had been among the first to pledge its allegiance through an ancient pact, forming the foundation of the Imperium's technological power.

Could this area be a remnant of that time? Perhaps an abandoned facility or vault, forgotten by history but now revealed to him through the Emperor's guidance. The Aquila on the stone seemed to be a sign, urging Vergil onward.

Determined to uncover the truth, Vergil stood, his grip tightening on his Nemesis Force Spear. Whatever secrets lay beneath Titan's surface, they were calling to him, and he was ready to face them. His mind sharpened with a renewed sense of purpose, Vergil continued forward, following the trail of ancient symbols that now seemed to guide his every step.
