Episode 13- A Spell that Can Revive the Dead...

"I guess you are going to help me revive my people then. I know with the power you hold; you are able to revive the people that were killed."

Those words came from the Fairy Queen that was still sitting in her chair, which was located behind the desk full of papers.

"Well, I can revive the people that died," Shito continued, "Have their souls already left this world because if they did, I'm going to have to artificially create more souls to replace theirs…"

The Fairy Queen, Artemisia looked at the boy that was standing in front of her, and she started enhancing her senses. Spirits and Fairies had the ability to see and sense souls.

However, the fairies were not able to manipulate or control the souls like the spirits could. Being lower in rank restricted the fairies' abilities. The magic that the spirits and fairies used was called Spirit Magic.

Spirit Magic was purer than the magic that the other races used, magic that could only be used by the fairies and spirits unless someone from the other races made a contract with a fairy or spirit. The spirits gathered their power directly from nature, making them more powerful than regular magic. Even so, their power could be less than someone without spirit magic that is if a person they are fighting is stronger than them, but if the person is weaker… then they would lose to spirit magic.

After sensing the souls of her people, Artemisia forcefully closed her eyes, retracting her mana that expanded throughout the whole city.

"Their souls have left the world… but are you sure you are able to create artificial souls for my people without them having any long-term effects on them? I want my people to come back to life, but I want them to be safe and be the same person they were before the death. If that's even possibl—...!"

"I can do that for you… Of course, for normal people, a resurrection spell could alter a person's livelihood, but I'm not like those people. My spell can bring a person back from the dead without any after-effects. One could say that I am simply above those kinds of rules."

The resurrection spell was a spell that only a handful of mages could use. Most people that tried to use the spell turned the things that they were training to revive into zombies, and some just failed miserably. However, there were people who could completely overwrite death, one of them being Shito Mahinu, The Void King. And the other is his older sister, The Witch of Eternal Creation, Sara Mahinu.

"Well since you can do that then, let's go ahead and start the revival process for my people. I'm thankful that you can help me…"

"How do you know that I'm being truthful…?" Shito asked before continuing, "I could be lying to you to benefit myself, so why are you trusting me so easily?"

"You have no reason to lie to me, that is why I can believe in you so easily. My eyes can see the truth from most people, but my eyes can only see what you allow them to, and from the power that you are releasing right now… I can sense that you could do what you are saying."

Spirits and Fairies can place their trust in the people who have a green aura around their bodies. Phantom Eyes of Truth shows the colors red and green, with red being people who are untrustworthy. Each time a person lies the aura changes from green to red, but the whole time she was talking to him, the aura did not falter in the slightest.

Shito placed his hands in his pockets and walked towards the door, "Well, let's go ahead and go revive your people… standing around here and talking isn't going to survive anything."

He walked out of the door. His friends and family were standing outside of the room, none of them could hear the conversation since the fairy queen placed a barrier over the room as soon as the group left the room. The conversation they were having was something that didn't need to be known by any of them until she could confirm

"...Ok, we need to hurry up, and get the people." Artemisia got out of the chair she was sitting in, and started to walk towards the door, "Everyone if you can please gather around each other, we have things to do so we need to hurry and start the process, so you all can travel to the dragon's territory."

Everyone listens to the words of the fair queen and gathers near her. The Fairy Queen snapped her fingers, and a three-dimensional magic circle formed under the group of Adventures and the fairy twins.

In an instant, the people teleported in front of a building. The building looked like a normal building, but the building had a scene that said 'Morgue'. It was the place where the fallen spirits lay, waiting for the Fairy Queen to bury them safely.

For the spirits to be safe, she would have to destroy their bodies to keep people from trying to revive her people. Even though most people wouldn't do that kind of thing, there were people in the world who didn't care about the dead and would do anything for power.

Shito looked around the area before looking at the sky, "Sebastian, come down here for me."

His voice was infused with mana, causing his voice to travel through dimensions. Normally everyone would drop to the ground in fear if they heard him speak because of how powerful his mana was, but because he was silent no one could barely hear him, except for his family… including Alice.

Before they could even react or speak a word, a man in a solid black tuxedo appeared in front of the group. A man that long hair that was tied into a low-hanging ponytail his expression was calm, making him look externally cool.

The butler kneeled on the ground, bowing his head with his left hand on his chest. "Do you need anything from me, my liege." the man, Sebastian, said calmly.

Even if he was in a different dimension, Sebastian constantly expanded his mana beyond dimensions to hear the call of his Master. He wanted to be able to do anything his master needed him to do, so he made sure to expand his mana and help his master whenever it was needed.

That means that Shito infusing his voice with mana was not really needed because Sebastian would have heard his call, to begin with. He doesn't listen to the conversations his master is having because he is not a rude person, but once he hears his name being called, he answers immediately. That showed his loyalty toward his master.

"There is a dragon that is on the outskirts of this town, would you be willing to go kill that dragon for me…"

"Of course, anything for you, my liege."

"....."

Shito looked at the man, wondering why he was still kneeling before him. He had already told him that he wanted him to kill the dragon on the outskirts of the city, so his still kneeling before him was… weird.

"Why are you still kneeling here Sebastian," he asked, cursorily, "Are you going to do what I asked you to do."

His voice was as calm as it always was, not a single hit of emotion was in his voice, but even so, you could sense a hint of curiosity in his voice. To the fairies and Alice, he was talking in an emotionless tone, but to the others that had been around him for long enough could sense when his tone changed even if it was a slight change.

"My Liege, I'm staying here to watch you revive some of the fairies… I haven't seen the technique used in thousands of years, so it's something that I want to see."

"...Ok, I'll allow it…"  Shito said, turning his head towards the Fairy Queen, "Summon your people here, so I can go ahead and start this process."

The fairy twins looked at Shito in shock before beginning to speak, "We can't allow you put the bodies of our people in jeapor—...!"

The Fairy Queen walked in front of the fairy twins stopping them from speaking any further, and she placed her hand out and a three-dimensional formation formed on the ground. And people started to pop off from left to right, none of the people had any wings, but they were fairies. Their wings were gone because they had died… it was like that for all fairies and spirits when they died.

So, these fairy's soul has really left this world… but that doesn't matter at the moment because I'm going to be able to revive them. I heard that the memories of spirits are engraved into their body when their souls disappeared from the world, that was because if people happen to be able to want to revive them then, their memories will come back.

However, even if their memories were not in their bodies, he would still be able to recover them…

There were about two thousand fairies lying on the ground before him, so he would have to create souls for each of their bodies. That was something someone couldn't really do because people lacked the mana to do it, but the amount Shito had was endless, or it could be beyond that. After all, as long as a person had mana then they would never get tired.

Shito's gaze was firmly placed on the dead fairies that were lying before him. "Looks like this is going to be easier than I thought…"

Those words were filled with confidence. It showed the Fairy Queen that he could do everything that she spoke to her about. Even faced with the countless dead bodies, not once did Shito falter. He keeps his calm expression and confidence.
