Standing just outside two velvet ballroom doors, my lips puckered as I felt a jolt of electricity surge me by. Touching up my hair and raising my blue colored short dress, I smiled brightly as my heel kicked the doors with enough force to knock them down.
Eyes from the entire ballroom swirled in surprise as I made one hell of an entrence.
"Hello everyone! "
Hearing everyone's confused voices as a response to my abrupt appearance, I lifted my head while standing proud and lovingly. I owned the whole world as I opened my eyes while feeling the wind swirl around my pearly white glossed dress.
With a slight motion, I raised my hand to my cheek and tiltead my head ever so softly while I give a stern pout.
"A real gathering of the damned... Not that I see any angels: eh, besides myself of course. Let us celebrate tonight, shall we!? "
Raising my arm gently to the air, my diamond encrusted bracelets trinkled down my arm as I gave an elegant curstey before everyone.
Given me such disgusted looks, I felt the piercing hatred coming from most of them as I stood in place with a wicked smile.
"H-highness?! H-how... W-We all thought you were dead!? " As the guilty responsible for nearly killing me two days ago spouted inoccence, I took a step forward with a stern smile.
"Guards! " A few dozen guards stormed inside the ballroom forming a line behind me. "Arrest the all! "
Major chatter and distress erupted within the ballroom as I turned around without so much as flinching when glasses of champagne flew beside my hair, nearly hitting my head as one of the particupants threw it in a fit of rage.
Stopping at the doorway, I turned and flipped my wavy blonde hair at the disgust of society's ailments. Closing my eyes, I turned forward and walked out of the ballroom as I snapped my fingers into the air. The police force then stormed the ballroom to apprehend and aid in the palace guards.
All the while, I smiled as I clicked my sky blue crystal trimmed heels over the marble stone floor. Leaving the scene through the front entrance doors, multiple camera and news network crews were already on sight waiting to film everything as planned. Walking down the steps, I swiped a pair of sunglasses from a passing officer and slid them on cunningly.
Smiling as my photo was taken and I was asked several questions all at once, I tiltead my head as my ride stopped to pick me up. The roaring sound of the luxury car made the world seem a little more colorful as its chrome and white finished exterior reflected my angelic charm.
Heading inside as my driver held the door, I smirked while lowering the window slightly to give a kiss the reporters with a smile.
Driving off, I looked down to my white purse on the seat and took out my phone. Texting my personal assistant, I sent a clear message to the groom that the wedding as not happening as planned.
Chuckling when he took the phone from my assistant and brought up the contract our parents had signed, I sent him a devish emoji as he recived the news of his parents being arrested in that ballroom for several charges, including 'illegal human trafficking'.
His lack of response made me slightly grin as I heard him getting arrested on the other line.
Relaxing in my seat and putting down my phone, I had a drink as a new hired maid poured me something bittersweet.
Holding the glass of sparking water, I looked out at the passing city lights as I enjoyed the taste of my freedom. Putting a melody to every sip, my red colored lipstick smeared on the rim of the clear glass as I inhaled a soft breath and swallowed with the most heavenly sensation I had ever felt in my entire life.
~
As I set the empty glass down on my lap, my hand moved to my heart as I heared my driver asking permission to speak. Smiling as he then asked what I wanted to do now that my old life was in shambles, I raised the glass and spoke.
"All good fairytales never write about the bad things that come after the 'ever after'... I think its about time I show my claws to the disgust and burn the welathy trash back from my city. Stick around, dear. Now that I've retained my freedom and my name, this entire country is just the first stepping stone thrown across a shallow lake these noble monsters will know what real 'equality' is. "
Tilting his hat, I sat while crossing my legs and relaxing onto the seat. Humming a soft melody, I turned my gaze out the window all the while feeling the driver's gaze filled with adoration in the rearview mirror.
"See somthing you like... " His eyes corrected onto the road as we continued crossing a damp, foggy and depressing industrial ravaged city plagued with an imbalance of freedom.
The wealthy were only five percent as the other nintyfive were poor and worked to fulfill the military controlled nation that was this horrid world where a murder on the street is considered a blessing to such scumbag figures. Such disgust made my rage filled heart burn with contempt as I closed eyes to avoid shedding tears.
If anyone was going to do right by this world, I would give it my all as daughter and last survivor of a noble household in the inner city. In truth, I had been kept in stasis underneath the royal family castle. Back then, I was revwred as the, 'Honorable Lady Glass' until being drugged and sealed away in secret by my own traitorous family.
I'll use my status and all my power here in the future to bring down this false nation and return it back to the oppressed people. If doing so meant my death, I'll gladly go with a smile on my face am determined to take the corrupt down with me... Even of it meant getting my hands dirty with blood.
