Using Modern Weapons In a Fantasy World

In an island somewhere in the Pacific....

Currently men from the special forces are under heavy fire.

"Damn, what the heck is going on, how the hell did they know we're coming?!!"

Wolf exclaimed as he fired his Heavily Modified Scar-H while he switched from cover to cover.

"I don't know how, but someone must have leaked the info"

Fox retorted while he provided suppressive fire with his M249.

"Coach where the hell is our emergency extraction?!!"

Fox took cover while reloading his LMG and asked their Comms officer about the emergency extraction while he's at it.

"Hey answer me?!"

However Coach is not responding to Fox, this made Fox check up on him but before he could even touch Coach, Coach fell down to the ground and blood splattered all over.

"Shi-"

Suddenly Wolf screamed.

"RPG!"

Aldelio slowly opened his eyes and he saw his blond haired older brother right in front of him with his book.

*Sigh*

"Didn't I told you to stop falling asleep while reading a book by the window, what if the window is not locked then you might have fallen through the window"

Aldelio rubbed one of his eyes as he yawned.

"How long have I been asleep, Alex?"

*sigh*

"You... Are you really listening?, whatever it's almost time for lunch and Aunt Clara told me to find you, and also here's your book"

Alex threw the book and Aldelio catched it with his hand.

"Del I'll be going to the adventurers guild now, you better not sleep by the window again when I'm back"

"Yeah, yeah"

Aldelio waved his hand as Alex opened the door in the room and moved downstairs. Aldelio is now alone in the room.

*groans*

"3 years have passed already huh..."

Aldelio Alastair formerly known as Delton Lemior A.K.A Fox from the Special Forces, he had reincarnated into the magical world of Reinhart and spent 3 years in a orphanage of a town. Fox, in his mission he and his team was under heavy fire by the insurgents and it resulted in him and possibly his whole team being killed in action.

Afterwards he reincarnated into a body of a 12 year old boy by the name of Aldelio Alastair who's parents abandoned him and his 1 year old, older brother in a orphanage.

Aldelio, as someone with memories from a modern world something like a [Status] screen which is a part of a system doesn't look very fantasy-ish. if everything is based by numbers in the system does that mean this world is virtual rather than a real one?

"But it's too realistic to be virtual...."

Aldelio Shrugged as he reached to a solution to his question.

"There's nothing I could about it anyways so why bother, I have spent 3 years into this world while learning everything I can about it, but I still haven't found the answers that I was looking for"

Aldelio held the book in his hand and walk over to a nearby shelf to store it.

"I should probably check out the {Creation Menu} and see if there's anything unusual"

The adventurers guild, a place where one can issue quest for the adventurers or become one yourself. An adventurer is a profession who can do all sorts of jobs. Ranging from herb collections to escort requests. The adventurers guild also has a ranking system for quest and adventurers starting from G, F, E, D, C, B, A, To S. Currently Alex Alistair is ranked E.

While Alex is on his way to the adventurers guild he sighed tiredly as he's concerned for his brother Aldelio.

"He never always listen to me and even if he does he doesn't even follow it, ughhh he's been giving me headaches lately"

Alex rubbed the temple of his nose while complaining here and there about his brother eventually losing sight of his surroundings. Moments later Alex reached the adventurers guild and he hits the door with his face.

"Ack- That hurt"

Alex finally reached the adventurers guild after a long walk of complaining, Alex opened the door while cursing inside for not noticing the door in front him.

"Hello Anna is there any E-rank quest you can give me today?"

Anna is a receptionist in the guild, the adventurers can ask the receptionist for any advice as well as information about certain things like herbs, monsters and many more, they can also recommend out quest to adventurers like what Alex is doing right now.

"Sure I have the usual request for you Alex however I think it's better if you look at the quest bulletin board first"

"Ok I'll take a look"

Alex walk over to the bulletin board to see if there's anything that might pique his interest.

"Wolf, Herbs, G-"

"Hey Alex!"

While looking over the quest in the bulletin board Alex got called out, he thenturned over to the source and he saw a familiar group of people. The Dexter Party. in the adventurers guild you can form a party together with other adventurers and Dexter Party is one of them. in a party all the ranks of the adventurers are being combined for example to have a A-Rank party you will need at least 8 members that are ranked B or 4 A-Rank adventurers, naturally because of this a party is stronger than a individual adventurer. currently the Dexter Party is Ranked D

"Oh hey what's up Dexter?"

Dexter Hoofman the leader of the Dexter Party is a Ranked-D adventurer and he is a 21 year old male he is tall as 189cm and looked European except his hair and his eyes are both blue in color. he is wearing a set of plate armor without the helmet while he has a great sword in his back.

"We're doing fine thanks for asking"

"That's great to hear"

Alex and The Dexter Party are pretty close to each other as they frequently do quest together when he first entered the guild 1 year ago.

"So is there anything you want from me Dexter?"

"Me and the guys have picked a quest and we are hoping you could join us, so what do you say?"

"Sure what kind of quest is it anyway?"

"E-Rank quest, Goblin Extermination"
