Trainer System in Reversed World

Energy pulsated in the air as Peter ran forward. His sword gleamed as he attacked the beast, a Calamity-class monster, rushing towards him. Corpses of monsters surrounded him, a mark of his path as he moved through the forest.

Sweat rolled down his back, evaporating as it left the cloth damp. Peter panted as he deftly dodged a giant monster's attack. His eyes locked on the monster. The furry bear-like monster growled as it heaved a giant boulder at the running Peter.

Gritting his teeth, he leaped into the air, feet clinging onto the side of a tree as he jumped over the boulder. He rolled as he landed on the ground. Peter surged up from the ground and aimed his blade at the bear's neck.

The bear swiped its large paw, batting away Peter's sword as it roared at him. The bear's eyes blazed as it slapped at him again. He blocked the bear's attack with his sword.

Crack!

A long crack formed on his blade.

He could only stare dumbly as the broken pieces of his weapon fell onto the ground. A searing pain emanated from his shoulder as he flew backward, crashing into a tree.

"Ack!"

He grasped at his injured shoulder as he sank to the ground. A wooden splinter was sticking out of his flesh with blood flowing out of it. He held onto his wound as he stood up, trying to ignore the pain.

Peter glanced at his hands. "Healing."

His wounds glowed slightly. The wound on his shoulder stopped bleeding but it did not heal. He knew it was because the attack was too strong for his level. But, the Healing spell did ease his pain.

Picking himself up, his Mana surged within him as he rushed forward. Peter aimed a punch at the bear's stomach. His fist burned with fiery white flames that left scorched marks on the bear's fur and skin.

The bear howled in pain, falling back a few steps with its paws holding its stomach.

An opening was made. Without wasting it, he punched the bear monster repeatedly. It was the 10th year since he was in this dungeon. Finally, he was strong enough to battle one on one with this monster. The guardian of the exit portal.

His fist burnt with Mana, burning the bear. He mustered his last strength and shot out a powerful punch, finally sending the bear flying and crashing into the ground.

Without hesitation, he walked towards the monster.

Peter twisted his body as he swung his leg in a roundhouse kick.

"Crack!"

The bear's skull fractured, caving in under his blow. A loud, pained howl echoed through the forest as the beast finally laid unmoving on the ground.

Blood was pouring out from its wounds and head. Bits of meat and brain matter spilled onto the ground, staining the grassy forest floor red.

[You have slain Guardian of the Forest (Calamity-Class) Level 189. Your strength has increased significantly!]

The System's message rang out in his head.

Peter heaved a sigh of relief and joy at the same time. His body was littered with scars and blood covered him. But his wounds were nothing compared to the joy of finally clearing this dungeon.

He had spent countless months trying to get stronger, finally slaying this guardian of the forest. All his items and preparation were used up during the journey, but it was worth it.

But there was one thing he could not accept.

"All my status will be reset when I get out of this dungeon, huh?"

Since the start, he was told about it already. A tutorial dungeon would always have a downside to prevent people from using it to cheat or anything. For Peter, it was that all his stats would be reset back to 0 upon exiting the dungeon. However... There was another catch.

[Exit portal will open soon. State the ability you want to receive upon returning to Earth.]

A perk reward appeared in front of him. As if pitying him, the System asked him to pick a special ability. And, based on what he was told, those abilities would be permanent.

'I am too tired to train again.' He heaved a sigh, 'I will need a good ability to let me get stronger without making an effort. I also want to use my knowledge so... An ability that is able to allow me to train someone and got stronger from their effort seems nice.'

That way, he could use his knowledge as well as just watch people train for him while he got stronger steadily. A perfect ability as a reward. He would be able to get money from training other people too.

"Can I get a system that allows me to get stronger and get half the status from the person I trained? Of course, including the ability to let me see their status in number, the ability to help me maximize their training, and maybe training methods."

It was the ability that he wished for, in a way.

"Since the dungeon will reset my status back to 0, I might as well make sure it will not end up as a waste, right?"

He waited patiently for the System's reply. His status was going to be reset back to zero anyway, so he did not mind whether his wish was rejected or not.

"...It can be done. I hope half is good enough."

"Damn it!" Peter cursed silently. He looked up at the blue sky above him. His body was feeling heavier now as his consciousness started to fade away.

[However, getting 1/10 the trained status and Awakener power is possible.]

"Huh?"

[System will create a Trainer System for Awakener Peter Huston. Its condition for activation is that an Awakener is willing to learn under Peter Huston as his student. Upon his student's awakening, 10% of their power and stats growth will be shared with Peter Huston without affecting their training.]

"That's...'

Way better than he thought! He was hoping to get only the status because all skills and knowledge he gained from the 10 years he spent inside the dungeon wouldn't disappear.

To think that he would be able to get his future students Awakener power was just a plus.

'Even if it's 10% of their growth, that's still way better. If I have 10 students, I would get 100% of their growth. And if I get 20 students, I will get stronger 2 times faster than when I trained myself. Damn!'

He could not stop the excitement in his heart as he grinned at the thought.

'That's fucking OP.'

If the System was telling the truth, then it was way better than what he imagined.

"Yes, please create that for me!" Peter agreed excitedly. He already saw his future, a glorious one of wealth and fame.

"Good! I will put my best effort into training my students! I swear on my life!" He said with conviction.

Of course, he wouldn't slack off! It was the best way to get money while getting stronger.

Looking at the Trainer System's window, Peter nodded his head in satisfaction.

"Not bad!"

A portal appeared right in front of him after he confirmed the details of the System. The exit to Earth, the portal of reality. Peter could feel a familiar breeze caressing his face. It had been a long time since he last felt the Earth's natural breeze. 

A nostalgic polluted breeze.

Gulping, he stepped into the portal with anticipation and excitement. He would no longer need to run away from the monsters and battles at night. No more pain of getting injured while trying to get stronger. No more eating disgusting food he caught himself and cooked with no cooking skill.

Modern world was waiting for him.
