The New Employee_4

Akira Jones stood before her cubicle, her face showing a sweet, welcoming smile. 

"Hi! I'm Akira, welcome! to Team One." She greeted Crystal while waiting for her to reciprocate her enthusiasm.

Feeling a brief moment of surprise, Crystal summoned her usual warm and friendly smile as she gazed at Akira with sparkling eyes.

"Hello! I'm Crystal Lee, as you've already heard. It's a pleasure to meet you," she said, extending her right hand for a handshake as she rose from her seat. 

Akira's face lit up with happiness as she eagerly accepted Crystal's hand and gently enclosed it within her own.

As she listened to the introduction, she couldn't shake off the feeling of familiarity that Crystal's presence evoked.

Suddenly, she blurted out, "You know, you remind me of a dear friend I had many years ago. It's quite uncanny."

Crystal was totally at a loss and only smiled at what Akira said.
