"So, How are you, Noelle?" Derek said.
"Doing great and well." I said.
"Firstly, I'm sorry about not bidding you a proper good bye when I left." Derek said.
"And?" I said.
"I wanted to fulfill my dreams of becoming a general officer which I'm now. I wanted to have a suitable financial conditions so that I could take care of you without worrying about anything." Derek said.
"You could have at least said something before leaving, couldn't you?" I said ,"And do you think you can take care of me now, Derek?"
"Guess so. Look I'm really sorry okay!" Derek said.
"But some apologies aren't accepted. It wasn't easy for me to focus on myself and everything going on. And you think a mere sorry can fix that?" I said.
Now now you must be confused of everything going. So let me take you 10 years ago where Derek and I met for the first time.
