Chapter 37: Cade Makes a Decision

Rose wanted nothing more than to crawl into bed. Hopefully, she wasn’t coming down with what Keegan had. She had no time since she had to make a plan for them. She had enough savings to last a few months, but her skills were of a limited scope. It wasn’t as if she could walk into any company and get a job.

She paced back into the house. Cade followed.

“I want you to move in with me.”

She spun around, not sure what he was talking about. They weren’t romantically linked for real, and she’d maintained that she hadn’t wanted to make anything formal. She’d thought Cade was on board. “Why?”

“Because that pack isn’t going to ever accept that I’m coming into the territory regularly. It could be brought up to The Wolf Council. It can be construed as a declaration of war.”

“But you gave them a reasonable explanation. They gave you permission.”
