"Where am I ?"
That was the first and only question he could think of at that moment. His eyes were lit by the pain coursing through his spine. He was savoring the odds and trying to pretend that twasnt there. He knew he was lying to himself.
He was lying on his back and staring blankly at the roof made with emotionless raffia. Twas a thatched roof. That was what he had opened his eyes to.
From where he was lying, looking up, there was something close to a mystery ball drooping from the top of the ceilings. He had no idea what twas.
He kept his eyes going around the roof till he was fed up. Aside the drooping mystery ball, there was no other thing of interest up there. Enough to get him bored.
Then he felt a weight on his feet, he should sit up if he would see it.
He tried to, he thought he was going to crumble at the try, but hell wrong he was. He was on it. Twas successful.
