The Vampire Prince's Slave

The prince’s smile was so enchanting that Vanessa forgot what she was doing and simply gawked up at the handsome vampire prince with her hands still resting on his chest. Klyde’s mouth kicked up in a smirk, and he could not help but tease, “If you keep caressing me like this, I might have the wrong intentions towards you, little butterfly.” — When Vanessa’s name is chosen to be the next sacrifice for the vampires, the girl vows to do her best and survive at the hands of the blood monsters. But her first foray into the vampire world is not so simple and neither is the master that she must serve and give herself to. For here in Transmere, she is nothing but a slave. Prince Klyde is known for his ruthless and cold nature. And yet, one look into the striking eyes of his new slave and a burning desire to possess her body and soul is the only thing on his mind. But a romance between vampires and humans is taboo as humans are nothing but food— a necessary evil for survival. As Vanessa and Klyde struggle to deal with their forbidden feelings, an enemy in the dark has unleashed evil forces at work to overthrow the King of Transmare. Klyde must fight to maintain the peace of the common vampires and the humans they have promised to protect with each sacrifice. Will the star-crossed lovers be able to save the kingdom from doom or will they burn as a result of their passion, resulting in their own ruin?

Healing The Prince

Vanessa opened her eyes to see the prince close to her face. So close, she could see the smoothness of his skin and the infinite blackness of his eyes. Widening her eyes, she also noticed his extended canines and the way he was looking at her as if she was a piece of succulent meat.

‘Oh no!’ She had failed to bring him blood and sustenance, and now she was going to become one. Well, she had thought as much, so she guessed she deserved it. After all, he was sick and needed blood. She just hoped that he would not drain her.

"My Prince," she breathed heavily.

But he did not bite her as she expected. Instead, his canines grazed over her skin before he whispered in her ear, “There are rabbits right outside. Go catch them."
