Chapter 10 - Her Reaction

Sky's POV

I started to flutter my eyes open from my incredible deep sleep that I had last night. O...Oh. I slept with two vampires. I was right in between them and I was facing Myra, the vampire that made me feel...oddly different. I then suddenly let out a small whimper at the light throbbing of my neck. That's right...they bit me twice to have a feed on me. Right?

Surely there had to be more than just a feed. I just feel...like I was attached to them. Like a super strong magnet. No, it wasn't my bracelet, or maybe it was? Fuck knows...

"Morning, beautiful." I heard Myra talk to me, which made me having that sparkly feeling again. "I am going to use the bathroom. I need to see something." I told her before I sat up, my neck still throbbing. I couldn't bare to see what kind of state I was in...

"Let me take you up, you look rather pained. Please?" Myra offered me, sitting up with me. She had a worried look on her face which honestly scared me about what they did to me. After I didn't answer, she tried to put a hand on my shoulder until I quickly pushed her hand back, shaking my head. I then scooted off the bed before I made my way slowly over to the stairs.

"Is there something wrong?" Samantha asked me. Great, I woke her up too.

I reached to the top of the stairs before I placed my hand on the door handle and pushed down, opening it to reveal the living room. I then walked straight out of the room and went straight to the other stairs which will lead directly to the bathroom. "Are you sure you want to..." Myra began to ask me, but it was too late as I was already in it.

My eyes widened in pure shock and surprise to see that I had...about a hundred bite marks all over my bloody body. My neck was the worst as the bite marks have faded into the skin...

"What the FUCK have you done to me?" I asked Myra, turning my head to face her staring at me with the same shock in her eyes. "I...I...I didn't k...know..." she began to stutter her pointless answer before I stormed my way over to her, baring my human teeth at the pain.

She then cleared her throat before she replied, "I didn't know what happened. You made me...well my vampire side lost control when you were letting out those addicting sounds..."

I then raised my hand up before I slapped her across the face. "Fuck you! What are these bracelets?! What are these fucking bite marks on my neck?!" I raised my voice at her. She had her eyes wide open at me, holding her cheek before she let out a shaky sigh.

"T...They are mate bracelets. And those faded bite marks are...marks. We...marked you during our moment with you."

"And you didn't even think about asking me permission to 'mark' me?"

"We were going to ask you permission until it was too late. The first time that we bit you...we just went and did it before we even started. It was our natural instinct."

I felt a sharp pain in my gut, like I had been stabbed. I couldn't believe this. I then started to walk back into the bedroom, grabbing the edge of the door and began to close it in front of Myra, who had tears flowing non-stop down her cheeks. "I'm sorry, I really am! Please! Don't close the door!" she then began to beg me before she collapsed onto her knees, then started to sob uncontrollably as she realised that the door had already closed.

As I stepped into the shower to wash myself, her sobs turned into pure loud wails. I couldn't tell if she was putting this on for show, or she really was sorry.
