Third Person’s POV (12 yrs. and 8 months old)
The creature shouted beside Ken, He turn his left eye to look at him and smirked again. Ken blinked away to the other’s previous location avoiding the dark beam that the guy casted on his fingertips, thankfully the beam didn’t pass on his previous location.
“Uh, no, I still want to live and go on adventures with my friends, oh but how are you going to kill me when you can’t catch me.” Ken mocked popping out from behind a destroyed pillar, he smirked at the incredibly pissed guy and-
“RAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRR.” Ken covered his ears from the burst of sound, what is that, a lion’s roar? Cause it’s not so aesthetic.
More dark energies gathered towards the creature making him look more hideou- oh wait, actually, he looks a lot more distinct with a black armor and a cape and, is that a sword? But his face is not covered with a helmet, and it’s still twisted.
“You make a mockery of my powers, I’ll show you what demons can do to you!!!” he shouted. “Demon Magic: Agony Blade!” he casted, making the sword he was holding glow red, pointed it to Ken, and fired out a dark red energy beam.
*BLINK*
“Too slow!” Ken shouted just as the beam passed his previous position and made a direct hit on the other eight twisted humanoid creatures who were still channeling a spell. The smoke dispersed and all eight were knocked unconscious with wounds all over their body.
The barrier’s slowly fading out, good, Ken look back at his opponent and sure enough, his mouth was agape at the destruction he had done. Ken blinked at his back, positioned his scythe on his neck in his stunned state.
“Surrender, and this will be a swift death.” he said. There was a pause.
“You cannot kill me, your puny magic cannot compare to the power I hold.” the other said and blinked away still on mid-air.
“Oh yeah, then perhaps this does. Light Moon Magic: Life Moon Form.” Moonlight descended upon Ken’s figure equipping with a robe of white with black lines on the edges, the outfit was very quite mobile despite being a robe as it closely resembles noble attires.
Minus all the frills on the arms and chest. Eyes is glowing silver with a black dot as the iris with hair. The skin turning to cream from brown. The robe fitting with a white trench coat.
“Light Moon Magic: Light Beams.” twelve small silver magic circles formed around Ken in a circle all aiming at the creature. He pointed his scythe at the armored ‘demon’ as all light beams shot at him, this time showing signs of damage.
“Wha- How is that possible?!” he shouted.
“Don’t know, don’t care. Light Beam!” the demon dodged all twelve and rushed towards Ken, him teleporting away to not get caught, another game of tag ensued.
Ken blinking away, and sending dozens of moon light everywhere.
‘Arcane Magic: Manual Input, I’m afraid my mana will run out faster than planned if I don’t use the moon spells wisely, might as well put some homing mechanism on this one.’
“Light Beams!” Ken casted, four light beams shot forth from the magic circle but this time twice smaller in size as the previous one, the demon dodged while still on the hunt, but the beams bent and chased him.
He noticed the beams gaining in on him and blinked away, but the beams still targeted him, he blinked just almost everywhere to avoid getting hit, leaving Ken to rest on mid-air just watching the five flying around.
“AGH!” finally, one managed to pass through, hit him rather, but it was only one and the rest three are still chasing the demon down.
“How is this power so strong!” he said, while clutching his right arm with a gaping hole almost taking the arm apart. Well coupled with the fact that Ken enhanced its size to be smaller but concentrated, then voila you have this result.
“You will pay for this!” he shouted.
“Yeah (drags the word), unlikely.” Ken replied, a lazy smirk on his lips.
“Let’s see how well you fair against’ your power.” He said. ‘What’s he on about?’ the demon conjured a dark red energy ball and shot it towards Ken, he dodged with ease and by the time he looked back, the guy wasn’t there anymore.
“Die!” he said.
‘He’s at my back again?’
“Like I said, Unlikely.” Ken met the sword with his scythe but the guy blinked again, leaving with Ken the three light beams from earlier. Oh shoot.
*BAM!*
Smoke rose from the collision
“MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, what did I say, it’s futile to resist, and you even fell from your own power, pathetic.” He said, that cackle’s so overrated. ‘My magic circles are gone, curse you for making me dispel them, they were so pretty at my side.’
‘Really?’ -White-
Yes, really.
“Who you calling pathetic idiot?” Ken said, and dusted of the dirt on his clothes from falling on the ground. “You know, everyone should always check up on their opponent if they’re incapacitated or not, or dead, and this is where you lot lack the most.”
The demon stared in shock, features quickly twisting to more anger. Before the other could shout -which he was going to-, react or blink somewhere else, Ken blinked at his back, and did the initial position of his scythe.
On the other’s neck.
“Light Moon Magic: Fluttering Light Scythe.” Ken performed sixteen slashes on him and with each slash, the power of the moon would strike him also, the outcome rendered him to a beaten flesh he once where.
Ken didn’t flinch from the cries he heard from the ‘demon’ as he stared motionless at the guy’s limp form below. Ken floating lazily above ground.
“Deactivate Life Moon form.” His clothes returned to normal and the glow disappeared. He looked at the dead creature and stabbed him with the tip of his blade, shook him to make sure that he really was dead. ‘Now that is how you make sure you have dealt with your adversaries.’
“GRRRRRR!”
‘Ah, they’re here,’ Ken turns around and the eight other twisted humanoid creatures are staring at him angrily, probably from the death of their leader.
“You guys were late from the party, but no matter, I’ll deal with you lot right here right now.” He made his scythe float in front, as he assumed a meditating position in the air, left hand over my right, a black silvery magic circle appearing below.
Feeling the dark moon’s power, his eyes were covered in black ink with a small white dot as the iris. ‘Dark Moon Magic: Death Moon Form.’ The transformation completed, hair turning pitch black with the image of glittering stars.
Outfit into that of an armor of black with white linings, but without a helmet. ‘Now that I’m here might as well show them my other form.’
“Death and wither, come join me, breath be hindered, come besiege me. Dark Moon Magic: Dark Phase.” everything turned dark hindering anyone’s sight in the area, and a single light shined upon Ken, as dark shadowy tendrils burst forth from the magic circle.
The tendrils turned into chains that tangled the other eight lifted them into the air, slowly tightening its grip, with a gesture of his right hand overlapping the other causing his scythe to turn upside down and finish the eight as the chains tightened even more and ended their lives.
There were no blood gushing out of their body, just their screams, Ken not noticing a small turn on the edge of his lips.
“Deactivate Dark Moon Form.” everything turned back to normal again, coupled with dead bodies.
Ken approached each one and did the same as he did on their leader, and upon close inspection, confirmed that the rest are dead.
‘Hmmmm, Flin told me that they’re a collective clump of negative thoughts, what happens to the bodies till then?’ the answer came in the form of the bodies turning to ashes moments later, but their leader taking quite a while to turn into ashes and fade into the air.
‘I wonder why it had the ability to talk, maybe because it was a high ranking one, but it looks to have the same body constitution as the others, hmmmmm… ooh gotta check out on the gate first.’ Ken flew to the place where the gate was, and there he sees and feel that the energies around are turning unstable.
Just as he landed on the ground, the gate collapsed in on itself, sucking in all the dark energies everywhere, baring witness to even the other eight’s ashes suck into the quickly collapsing gate along with their slowly dissolving leader.
‘Eeehh, I don’t even wanna say how gross it looked with all the parts clear in broad daylight.’ Ken used the scythe to lever himself on the land and not get sucked in, finally the gate imploded leaving behind the destruction of its wake.
Hewalked towards the dull lifeless looking area the gate was at, knelt down, and felt the area. It’s almost devoid of life and mana world, thankfully, he came prepared -again-.
“Nature Magic: Forest Blessing.” A green magic circle with a radius of fifty meters appeared below him and slowly and surely, filled back the space with life and the world’s mana. ’Done, now to wait for my friends.’
“Deactivate Concept of Concealed Presence.” Ken looked at himself at the water mirror he conjured and pretty sure the distortions subsided. ‘Man that spell took a lot in me.’
‘Yeah, out of all the elemental spells you have, this one takes a ton of your mana.’ -White-
‘Yeah, I agree, remind me again why I wanted this spell?’
‘Because you wanted to recycle spent energy and use mana to breathe life into the land.’ -White-
‘Yeah, uwaaahh, you’re spherical shape is so cute White I could just squish you right now.’ Ken comments groggily and made grabby hands at White floating beside him.
Ken giggled some more. ‘Should I grab him, or not? Does he have a physical form aside from being a ball of white… light.’
‘*chuckle* You look like you’re intoxicated.’ -White-
‘I do?’
‘Yeah, you’re swaying.’ -White-
“*YAWN* I’m so sleepy.”
‘Take care of me White.’ As his afterthought went as he lay on the grass, the shade of a tree covering his face from the sun.
‘Okay.’ -White-
‘Fluffy.’
