Super Saiyan Bardock

Days passed and Berry brought a new big basket filled with food and medicine every day. Bardock's wounds were pretty much healed by now.

Berry came carrying a new basked filled with food and medicine. Bardock wasn't as cold and distant towards Berry anymore.

"Bardock." Bardock said.

"Eh?" Berry seemed confused.

"My name is Bardock." Bardock said as he put a piece of bread in Berry's hand.

"Ah! Hehe! Mr. Bardock!" Berry exclaimed happily. as he continuously repeated Bardock's name.

"It seems he has changed a bit." Kalan thought as he smiled.

It had been more than ten days since Kalan and Bardock arrived in the past.

*Tak Tak Tak* Sudden flurried footsteps could be heard.

"Ha,ha,ha. Huff." Berry ran over while gasping for air.

"Mr. Bardock! Some aliens have appeared!" Berry hurriedly said with a worried tone.

"That doesn't concern me." Bardock ignored Berry and continued doing push ups.

"But they are looking for you! They were so scary that I had a bad feeling about this-" Berry continued to explain.

*Boom* *Bom Bom Bom*

Explosions could be heard from the distance in the direction of the Plants' village. Grey smoke rose from the explosions. Several orange explosions could be seen from afar.

"It must be them! Mr. Bardock! Please save my village! Please! Please!" Berry begged.

"Bardock hurry! Them must be Frieza's men." Kalan said.

"Frieza!" Bardock said angrily. He must have thought of his comrades and Gine. He believed Frieza had killed them and all the Saiyans when the planet exploded. He hurriedly flew towards the village. Bardock had accepted the Plants' help so he also felt indebted. But it was mostly the rage from having his friends killed.

"Will Mr. Bardock be fine?" Berry suddenly asked worriedly.

"Don't worry. Bardock is really strong." Kalan smiled and said.

An alien aimed his energy gun at Ipana and was about to shoot when Bardock suddenly appeared and kicked him.

*Bang* A boulder exploded as the alien crashed into it. Slowly the alien fell down to the ground, unmoving. He was dead.

"Bardock!" Ipana exclaimed.

"Bardock? So you're the one who killed my men." Chilled said as he removed his cloak.

"Frieza!" Bardock upon seeing Chilled's face which was similar to Frieza's immediately thought it was Frieza. He rushed forward and punched Chilled.

"You bastard!!" Chilled was hit unprepared but suffered no injuries. Instead he was enraged from the punch. He rushed forward and kicked Bardock.

*Bang* Bardock was kicked away and slid on the ground quite a few meters.

"Bardock!" Ipana shouted worriedly.

"Such power..." Bardock exclaimed as he powerlessly lied on the ground.

"So weak... To even challenge me. Trash!" Chilled stepped on Bardock's head, grabbed his head with his toes and slammed it to the ground.

"Frieza..." Bardock continued shouting Frieza's name in anger.

"Sorry Bardock... But don't worry I'll teleport over and save you if you're in danger." Kalan watched the battle through his telepathy senses and guiltily thought.

"Who is this 'Frieza' you keep shouting about? You rude kid. Don't you even know who I am? I'm the the most powerful space pirate in the universe, Lord Chilled!" Chilled said conceitedly.

"He's not Frieza? But he's so similar... But if it's in the past, then he is... Frieza's ancestor!!" Bardock exclaimed.

Chilled continued playing with his 'toy' but soon got tired.

"This is all you've got? I've no need for weaklings like you." Chilled said as he kicked away Bardock.

*Burrr* Chilled charged a pink energy ball with his forefinger as he intended to kill Bardock.

"Noo! Stop! Don't hurt Mr. Bardock!" Berry shouted as he ran towards Chilled.

"Kid don't come over!" Bardock shouted.

"Don't interrupt me trash." Chilled said as he slashed out his energy ball towards Berry.

"Shit I don't know if he will survive this like in the story!" Kalan thought as he hurriedly rushed out to grab Berry. Kalan grabbed Berry with his right hand and used his back to protect Berry.

The pink energy slash fell partially on Kalan's back and the rest cause a huge valley to form on the ground. Kalan was knocked away as Berry and and him crashed in a crag.

"Urgh.." Kalan grunted.

"Shit that hurt!" As Kalan had pretended to be in a bad shape, he had also suppressed his Ki as he was worried Chilled had scouters. The energy slash cut deeply into his back and lots of blood flowed out.

"Kalan!" Bardock shouted.

"Oh? Another monkey tail. Shall I kill this kid first?" Chilled smiled cruelly. Step by step he slowly and tortuously walked toward Kalan.

"Shit he was supposed to turn into a Super Saiyan by now! Should I stop pretending and just get rid of Chilled?" Kalan thought as his back bled.

"STOP! Shit! Shit! I'm so pathetic. If only I had more power!" Bardock shouted as he struggled to get up. He thought all the Saiyan except Kalan and him were left.

Seeing Chilled slowly walk step by step towards Kalan made him think of his teammates and Gine. he couldn't protect anyone at all. Now Kalan who was in front of him, yet he couldn't save him. Angry at his own powerlessness Bardock clenched his fist hard, his nail digging into his flesh as blood dripped down. He started slamming his head repeatedly on the ground.

"At that time too..." Bardock thought of Kalan's battle against Frieza. He had seen the future, but he couldn't stop his own race's extermination. He had been powerlessly watching Kalan fight. A kid! He was an adult and he had let a child carry the burdens of the their whole race! He had watched as Frieza threw the magma ball down and destroyed Planet Vegeta. Yet again he was powerless to stop it and could only watch at the magma ball descended.

"Damn it! Damn it!" Bardock cursed as he slammed his fists hard on the ground. He looked at the 'dead' Berry laying on the ground next to Kalan.

"Hehehe." Chilled said as he gripped Kalan with his tail.

"Sigh, this is it." Kalan thought inwardly and was just about to release his ki.

"I. Told. You. To. STOP!" Bardock stood up as lighting struck down the ground. He had intended to bring down Chilled even if he died with him.

"I will kill you!!" Bardock shouted as his hair started turning yellow, his hair rose up and down fluctuating between yellow and black.

"Yes! It worked!" Kalan looked excitedly at Bardock's change.

"Hahaha, you want to kill the great Lord Chilled? You fool." Chilled dismissed Bardock's words.

*Bzzt Bzzt* *Shi Shi Shi*

"Uwaaaa!Aaah!" The fluctuations became faster and faster. Lightning gathered around Bardock's body.

"Uryaaaaa!Aaaah!" Bardock exploded his energy, a big crater was formed. A strong air shockwave blasted out. His hair, eyebrows and tail turned yellow without changing back. His eyes turned turquoise. A strong overwhelming presence spread out.

*Shi Shi Shi Shi* A yellow energy aura surrounded Bardock, moving agitatedly as it sharply cut the air.
