The Protagonist is Pretending to be a Side-character.

In the country of Japan, there is a boy who was addicted to fictional stories in animes, mangas, novels, and webnovel to the point of him began to hallucinate about having the power of the characters he loves. In other words, a chunnibyou.

It's already to the point where even his parents have given up on him.

It all started when he was a 2nd grader in middle school. One of his friends introduced him to one of the popular anime which is called 'Naruto'.

He was a studious student at that time, so he always focus on studies to not disappoint his parents that have a high expectations for his future.

Because it was a recommendation by his friends, he decide to give it a try and watch it when arrived at home that day. Unknown to him that it was a start of the changes that will happen in his life.

In the present time, the boy was already 18, He is currently in his third year of highschool.

The boy's name was Akira Kurogane. Because of his friends recommendation when he was a middle-schooler, he has become a true otaku.

He begin to watch anime everyday, neglecting his study which resulted in him becoming a disgrace to his parents for always failing in his exams.

It doesn't end there, he even started reading a bunch of mangas, novel, and webnovel resulting in his grade to fall even lower than they are before.

And this day, was the day when the final exam for the third grade was held.

Akira was walking to school while looking at his phone, reading the light novel of one of his current favorites story, 'The Eminence in Shadow' while imagining himself as the protagonist, while listening to 'Villain's song playlist on YouTube.

Because of wearing a headphones, he didn't hear the shout of the people around him that was trying their best to warn him of the upcoming vehicle.

Akira felt that his ears were itching so he decide to take off his headphones to scratch it, only to be welcome by the shouts of the people.

He was confused before turning to his right when he sees an entity that will change his life.

'Woah, is it my time to get isekaid? Truck-Sama..' He thought as the giant truck crushed him, and taking his life.
