Chapter 1Echoes of Tragedy

The room enveloped me in its pristine whiteness, a cocoon of light that seemed to cradle my fragile form. The air held a peculiar mix of sterility and warmth, like the embrace of a distant memory.

My eyes, still adjusting to the sudden illumination, could barely discern shapes. Shadows danced at the periphery, teasing me with glimpses of reality. And sound—oh, how limited it was! Muffled whispers and distant echoes reached my ears, like ripples in a tranquil pond.

Then, a touch, a gentle cradle of arms lifted me from the unknown surface. The hands were seasoned, their skin etched with countless stories. I nestled against the chest, feeling the rhythmic beat of a heart, a lifeline connecting me to the world beyond.

The warmth enveloped me, a soothing balm against the chill of existence. I imagined it as the same warmth that had cradled me in the womb, a memory etched into my very cells. It whispered promises of safety, of belonging.

And so, I closed my eyes. Not out of weariness, but out of surrender. The world was vast, and I was but a speck,a fledgling seeking solace. Darkness descended, and I reveled in its softness. There, cocooned in the warmth, I felt the universe cradle me.

Then, a voice ,a melody woven from stardust pierced the silence. "Her name will be Aurelia, Doctor," it declared. The syllables danced, painting a portrait of grace and strength.

The female voice held conviction. "I'll look after her just fine." Assurance flowed from her lips, a vow whispered to the cosmos.

And so, in that white room, amidst whispers and warmth, I drifted away.

 Three Years Later…

"Aurelia, stop running! You'll end up falling!" My mother's voice echoed through the hallway. I giggled, my bare feet padding across the cool tiles. Clutching a towel around me, I raced ahead, my laughter trailing behind like a comet's tail.

My mother, her eyes dancing with amusement, chased after me. She was my anchor, the one who laughed when I laughed, who held me when I stumbled. We reached the bedroom, and she scooped me up, her arms strong and comforting.

"What is my little Aurelia going to wear today?" she asked, setting me down on the bed. The wardrobe yawned open, revealing an array of clothes. Dresses hung alongside skirts, but my heart leaned elsewhere.

"I don't know why," I babbled, my toddler words tumbling out, "but I really don't like dresses and skirts. They're too… weird." I emphasized the word, as if it held the secret to my comfort.

My mother chuckled, pulling out a t-shirt adorned with tiny stars. "How about this?" she asked, holding it against me. The fabric was soft, and the stars seemed to wink at me. Next came a pair of trousers, equally cozy. It was like wearing pajamas all day, and I loved it.

As she dressed me, I caught sight of myself in the mirror. "Wow," I whispered, my eyes wide. My cheeks were rosy, and my black hair fell in unruly waves. Mum never quite figured out how to tame it, but I didn't mind. The stars on my clothes matched the red of my eyes , eyes I thought were beautiful.

And then there were my horns. Two delicate protrusions adorned my forehead ,one black, the other white. I shared this peculiar feature with my mother. Her eyes were crimson, and her own black horns curved gracefully. We were a pair, living happily in our modest city flat.

We might not have had much, but love and laughter filled our days.

The aroma of simmering soup filled the cozy kitchen, wrapping itself around me like a comforting embrace. My mother, with deft hands, stirred the pot, the wooden spoon clinking against the edges. The purée bubbled gently, chunks of ham peeking out like hidden treasures.

I sat on her child-sized chair, legs swinging impatiently. my stomach growled in anticipation, and I couldn't help but shout, "I'm hungry, Mum! When will it be ready?"

My mother chuckled, wiping her flour-dusted hands on her apron. "Patience, my little star," she said. "It's almost done."

I tapped the table with my fork, creating a rhythm that matched my heartbeat. The kitchen window framed a view of the garden vibrant flowers, dew-kissed grass, and the gnarled oak tree where I liked to imagine fairies danced at night.

Finally, my mother ladled the creamy purée into a bowl, the steam curling upward like a whispered secret. She placed it before me, who dug in with gusto. The ham melted on my tongue, and I closed my eyes, savoring the simple pleasure of a warm meal.

Just as I was about to take another spoonful, a sharp knock echoed through the house. My mother's eyes widened, and she glanced toward the door. "Stay here, Aurelia," she said, her voice firm. "I'm going to go see who it is."

I nodded, my curiosity piqued. Who would visit us during lunchtime? I watched as my mother crossed the kitchen, her footsteps echoing on the wooden floor. The door creaked open, revealing a stranger—a man with eyes like storm clouds and a cloak made of earth-toned leaves.

Before  my mom could close the door, the man raised his hand. The air shimmered, and the door exploded inward, splinters flying. I gasped, my bowl of purée forgotten. The man stepped inside, followed by three others, equally imposing.

They weren't ordinary men. Their eyes glowed with an otherworldly fire, and their skin bore intricate patterns, as if etched by ancient magic. Demons, I realized, my heart racing.

My mother's face paled, but she stood her ground. "What do you want?" she demanded, her voice steady.

The lead demon sneered. "We seek the girl," he said, pointing at me "The one with the black-and-white horns. She possesses a rare power—one that could tip the balance."

I clutched my fork, fear and confusion swirling within me. What did they mean? I was just a little girl who loved starry t-shirts and cozy meals.

My mother stepped between them, shielding me. "You won't touch her," she said, her eyes blazing crimson. "She's mine."

The demons laughed, a sound like distant thunder. "Your love won't save her," the lead demon said. "We'll take her, willingly or not."

But my mother had other plans. She whispered a word a name her voice woven with ancient magic. The ground trembled, and vines burst forth, wrapping around the demons' legs. They struggled, but the earth held them fast.

"Run, Aurelia!" her mother shouted. "Find safety!"

Tears blurred my vision as I fled, my little legs carrying me toward the garden. Behind me, my mother fought, her magic colliding with the demons' fury.

As I watched from the safety of the dense foliage, my heart pounded like a drum against my chest. The scene unfolding before me was both mesmerizing and terrifying. My mother stood tall and defiant, a beacon of strength against the encroaching darkness of the demons. Their presence was palpable, their malevolent energy sending shivers down my spine.

I could hear the whispered incantations of my mother as she bravely faced the lead demon, her voice tinged with both fear and determination. Her magic crackled in the air, intertwining with the swirling vines that erupted from the earth in a desperate attempt to shield us from harm.

But then, in a flash of silver, tragedy struck. One of the demons lunged forward, his sword slicing through the air with deadly precision. I watched in horror as the blade found its mark, piercing my mother's chest with a sickening thud. Time seemed to slow as her body crumbled to ash before my eyes, leaving behind nothing but a haunting echo of her presence.

" Mom." I whispered.

Tears blurred my vision as I turned to flee, the demon's mocking laughter echoing in my ears like a sinister symphony. I ran as fast as my legs would carry me, the sound of my own heartbeat drowning out all other noise.

But the demon was relentless, his shadow looming ever closer with each frantic step I took. Panic clawed at my chest as I reached the edge of a cliff, the sheer drop below a terrifying reminder of my own mortality.

I glanced back, desperation fueling my every movement. The demon mirrored my every step, his eyes gleaming with malicious intent. With nowhere left to run, I took a hesitant step backward, my foot slipping on loose gravel.

The demon advanced, his cruel smile sending a shiver down my spine. I stumbled, my back pressed against the unforgiving edge of the cliff. The world spun around me as I fought to maintain my balance, the abyss below yawning hungrily.

"Please," I whispered, my voice barely audible above the howling wind. "Please go away."

But the demon only laughed, his laughter a cruel melody that echoed in the empty space between us. With a final move from me the world disappearing in a blur of motion and sound.

The impact stole the breath from my lungs, pain blossoming like a flower in my chest. I lay there, broken and battered, my world reduced to darkness and agony.

And as consciousness slipped away, the last thing I felt was the sharp crack of one of my horn, snapping like a twig beneath the weight of my despair.

Song of the Gardener of Souls [BL]

Rowan sees beauty in death. The Order he has sworn to obey only sees defilement. As the reviled Caretaker of the Order, Rowan has accepted his role as a dutiful outcast because he believes it is the only way to prove his worth to the man who holds his sisters’ souls as collateral. With his magic and his voice, Rowan can absorb death and transform it, but only in ways the Order deems acceptable to maintain the stability of the reality it claims to protect Order must subdue Disorder. Reality must triumph over illusion. He is tainted and always will be. Rowan has never questioned those lessons, but that changes the night he harvests a crimson soul that is more than human and chooses to keep it a secret. When Rowan’s song transforms that soul into a beautiful and mysterious man he names Wren, he is forced to accept that sometimes duty is a lie and illusion is the only thing you can trust. As the fabric of the Order begins to unwind and a new kind of Disorder takes hold, Rowan will need to choose again, stand with the Order that held him down, or forge a new path with Wren at his side. He may be the only one who can restore balance to the worlds, but only if he can find balance within himself first. ************************************* Updates 3-4 times per week. Note: This story focuses on relationships. I promise an epic romance, lots of swoon-worthy moments, and a healthy amount of fluff. When it does get steamy…you might get burned. Fair warning for explicit content. I don’t shy away from my spice. There are lots of side characters and couples to fall in love with, in addition to the main couple. If you love the idea of found family, you will be happy. This book is set in a non-heteronormative world, so you will see various gender identities/expressions and types of love. ************************************* Excerpt (if you want the full steamy version, you will have to read the book!): Still reeling from the new magic that coursed under his skin and unsure of how to react to the desire that threatened to take control of him, Rowan froze. Wren's hot breath against his mouth sent a jolt of pleasure through his body, and he choked back a groan. A different kind of panic flared in Rowan's chest, burning him as if he were the one on fire. This was what he wanted, what he'd thought about every night since Wren left. But wanting more was one thing. Acting on it was another. He'd spent so much of his life hiding, he didn't know how to do anything else. One corner of Wren's mouth twitched as Rowan pulled away. When he attempted to free himself from Wren's grasp, Wren just hauled him closer. Rowan liked that he didn't have to think about what to do next. His bare chest thudded against Wren's torso, and the heat from Wren's body merged with Rowan's skin, melting him from the inside out. "What did you just do to me?" Wren's deep voice vibrated against Rowan's chest. "The Disorder of your illusion was holding you captive. I…I absorbed it." "Oh? Where did you learn to do that? Have I been gone that long?" Wren's grip loosened slightly on Rowan's wrists as if he was satisfied now that Rowan was practically sitting on top him. Rowan stared at Wren's lips. He opened his mouth to protest, but immediately closed it again. "I know you aren't going to say that I shouldn't touch you." Wren's free hand splayed over the small of Rowan's back. "Not when you started it." Rowan's breath hitched. "No. I'm not going to say that anymore. Not to you." "I thought you were afraid to be touched." Wren's fingers traced a circle over the curve of Rowan's spine as if testing for a reaction. "I know that I'm not afraid of you." Rowan waited for the panic to set in, but all he felt was desire. "With you, I want…" "You want what?" "I want more." Triumph flared in Wren's gaze before he narrowed his eyes. "Really? Then why are you still trying to get away from me?"

Omegas couldn’t birth pups, so no one wanted to be mated to them, except to fuck them and move on. Fleeing for his life led him into the clutches of Jason, a dangerous, ruthless wolf. He loses his virginity to him and the morning after, he realized that this soulless Alpha is his fated mate. But, once again, Rory is reminded of his curse of always being a second option when he got rejected. As if that wasn’t enough, he soon realized his life is in immense danger. Rory then decides to run away and start afresh in a different country. One thing Rory didn’t expect to happen, was for him to end up pregnant weeks after fleeing! ~~~ Years later, Rory now has an adorable son. He wasn’t the timid omega he once was, because he had managed to rise to the very top. Along the line, he managed to open his heart up to Kenny, a cute Alpha who loved and cherished him wholeheartedly, leading him to live a contented life. But when he collides with Jason this time, he wants nothing to do with the alpha who rejected him in the past. Jason, an Alpha of Alphas, felt his wolf wilt away the day he rejected his omega mate. He tried making things right, but the pretty omega who smelled of wildflowers and vanilla had completely disappeared from the face of earth. Now that he had encountered Rory again, he wasn’t ready to receive ‘no’ for an answer, and he was ready to do whatever it takes to get the omega’s forgiveness. However, Kenny wasn’t ready to let go of Rory either! A fight for the omega’s heart, who’s gonna emerge the victor? And what if they decide to share instead? | - | e x c e r p t | -| “Arch for me, pup.” The dark alpha husked and more color rushed into Rory’s face as the order settled in his stomach. For the first time in his life, Rory was completely nude in front of a man. He had assumed losing his virginity was gonna be brisk, and that it was gonna happen in the dark. He never counted on it going down this way, with an alpha whose dark eyes made his weak kneed and tongue tied, whose voice made his insides clench up, and whose touch made slick gush out of him like he was a faulty faucet. He pressed his flushed face into the sandalwood smelling sheets, limbs trembling as he arched his back even more, till his ass was very high and his chest pressed into the bed as well. “There you go, that’s a good boy.” The Alpha growled out, hands reaching out to knead his hips, and when he delivered a spank on Rory’s ass, a stuttered whimper spilled past the pretty omega’s mouth, muffled in the sheets. Moments later, fingers were digging into the omega’s hair, jerking his head up just as another spank got delivered on his second cheek, and this time, there was nothing to muffle the high pitched sound and it filled the air in a melodic tune. “Don’t muffle those sweet sounds, gorgeous. I want to hear every sound you make, I need to hear you as you fall apart from pleasure in my bed tonight, and that’s exactly what’s gonna happen.” * Cover isn’t mine. It's Just A Picture (BL)

(MATURE CONTENT) Threesome arc? - Right here A weak, adorable, and low self-esteemed MC with an awful past, a trauma breaking him down every second and controling his life, just before he meets his 'suns', and later gains confidence and starts loving himself again arc? - Right here. Yeah, you read that right. Twin brothers who radiate like the sun and are very possessive of the MC, putting his happiness above everything arc? Gosh, look no further, you're in the right place. This story is just for you, so open it and read to your heart's content. ****** Synopsis I was just a no-name photographer who was trying hard to make a living, but then I got tangled with 'them'. My life, as it was, had always been nothing but a nightmare, living a cursed life that wasn't fit to be called a life. I had no chances with love, connections, or anything. Nothing! And after drawing my last straw, trying to make a final effort that would maybe lead me somewhere other than dirt, I met them again. They - the twins - were my childhood friends whose lives I had ruined with my presence, and I was scared to ruin it a second time, so I tried to stay away from them but... They had other plans. 'When angels dream.' That was what I called the picture. The beautiful portrait was filled with serenity as that blond Italian man gazed into the distance and was showered with the soft petals of cherry blossom. The beautiful picture I had 'stolen'. Yeah, that's the word. I stole it because I didn't ask for permission first. But this is how it unfolded. At first, I took the picture without asking because I was so mesmerized by the scenery, and completely breathtaking, but then I got caught but it wasn't by the same man. They looked alike and wore the same clothes but I could tell right away that he wasn't him. Nevertheless, I apologized. "I'm deeply sorry." I said but then, the man whom I had stolen a picture from walked up behind me and said, "To think such a day would come." I turned around and blinked, looking at the man in front of me and then at the one behind me. They were identical twins. And not only that ... My heart shook... They looked like the twins I had known back then. "What's the matter?" The one in front asked with a bright smile that I was so compelled to take a picture of him and I did. He blinked at my confused expression and then burst out laughing. A sweet and cheerful laugh that made me blush. he looked really handsome. They both did, with their blonde hair which shone like gold with the suns radiation and a charming smile. I found my heart racing at the mere sight of that smile and almost forgot the situation I was in. "I see you haven't changed at all." He suddenly said, swiped my hair back and added, softly, "Hyung." My eyes widened. These two... It couldn't be... They weren't the twins, right? The twins that I knew. They... How did this happen? I just wanted a picture, that's all. ****** Thank you all for diving into this story. Note, the smut doesn't officially start right away till the later chapters but I didn't leave the readers without some sweet candies either, so along the line, there were a bunch of 'actions' between MC and the twins, huhu. His denial knew no bound but his body still won in the end, haha. Anyway, if you find waiting for updates too long, and you haven't checked out my other books, please do. There's also a threesome arc in the first one below. And it's completed too. What a score! 1) Alpha, Alpha, Beta? I transmigrated into an Omegaverse as a boy? [Completed] Check out the continuation of number one, It's the next generation, that is, their kids 2) To Byul (Omegaverse) [Ongoing ]
