"She's insane."
"That's what I thought as well." Jason sighed and relaxed into the chair completely. "I don't feel bad about her being in there. I'm actually sort of relieved."
I didn't respond to that, because I knew the second my mouth opened, the only words that would leave were words of bitterness. Delilah and Jason had pushed me to my breaking point more than once, and I'd be damned if they did that to me again, because this time I wasn't alone. Maybe it was my victim complex speaking, but I was starting to get tired of her even breathing.
"I don't want her getting out."
"Then we agree, for once." Calmly, almost nonchalantly, I took a bite out of my food. "So what do we do?" I asked once I'd swallowed.
"We find out what's wrong, pretend to help her, but don't actually do it."
"So lie."
"Yes."
