Rich Bruno, once a nineteen-year-old Miner, now has the opportunity to move from his poor Home City of Adlington to the wealthier Market City of Espington. He and a group of young Miners are transported via carriage to their new life. En route to Espington, the carriage is struck by a wood bomb. Several Miners are injured, a few are killed, and Bruno believes he sees a mysterious red-haired man that may or may not have been on the carriage to begin with. Getting to Espington was not easy for Bruno. Starting a new life there will be even harder. I hope you enjoy Book One of the Piner Trilogy.
