So how? How did he reach a level similar, if not above the best,, a power level that comes with systems with the purpose of allowing prodigies to grow even stronger than they already are. Cal, right?” Cal's eyes widened, staring at the one in front of him, maybe he could change his horrid fate. “Don’t look like that, Anyways, I’m Echo. And, I would say I’d help you, but really, you gotta help yourself.” [ new task assigned ] [ misson : take revenge on the one who chose this horrid fate for you. ] ————————————————- Cal, a being born with a horrid fate, gets the chance to change it, to become stronger, to stop at nothing to achieve his goals, but will he do it? Will he rise above them all or will he fail, doomed to spend his life under someone else’s control. “I’ll grow stronger, even if it takes my humanity.” Cal said, determined. “Better keep that promise, you might have to.” Echo said, her words drumming into Cal's ears, he nodded. Walking away. He knew exactly what to do now, and he was just getting started. “There is so much more to know, so much more to get, to see. So many secrets you have yet to reveal…” “You're right about that, Cal! I’ll tell you eventually, just not know. Focus on the task at hand.” ———————————————— Will Cal rise above the rest, change its horrid fate? Can he overcome the millions of challenges that seek to hinder his path forward, or will he fail, having to start over again and again, with no progress, stuck with his fate for all eternity.

Pace.. pace.. pace.. fast paced walking could be heard, from behind a semi open door you can see a young man, most likely a teenager. Likely just 14. He has blue, almost purple eyes. Lush, pink lips. And a seemingly perfect nose. His hair was messy, it looked like he just woke up as he ran his hand through his long hair, smoothing it down a bit, in the back it was around three and a half inches long.
He had a simple grayish top on with baggy grayish pants, it was more of pajamas then something to wear. The t-shirt was baggy but it was clear that he had a very toned physique, you could see his abs, broad shoulders, he was handsome, yet his face was beautiful, with fair, light skin. His eyes seemed to glow a faint purple-blue light,
He looked nervous, fearful and stressed yet somehow exited? There was a few droplets of sweat rushing down his face, going past his cheek before he lifted his hand to wipe the sweat off.
He walked over to his night stand and grabbed a hair brush, brushing through his thick, platinum, almost pure white hair. He then went over to get dressed.
He put on his school uniform, a white undershirt, dark blue, almost black tie and a dark blue blazer. On the right side. Around were the heart should be, was the school emblem, it was a white book with multiple items surrounding it, one being a sword. Knife and different types of Weapons, in this day in age, martial arts and different fighting styles were important, power was everything. Systems were everything, with them one could attain ability's, powers, and so much more. To do this you must attain them through certain means such as completing tasks, or missions from there 'system', speaking of systems, everyone is capable of attaining a system, Some systems are made using robots, while others hold the soul of real beings, these systems are made by the people that control them, to chose there hair, to pass there power down, and once someone dies, there soul is put within the system, but those are only given to prodigy's, aren't they?
Cal, considered as a item, hopes to get a higher ranked system, to escape his ever soon to be life of service to another. Cal may be smart, handsome, and strong, but the choice to be a item was never his, nor something he can change, his mother made that choice, why? She was poor, she needed money and raising a 'item' was the best way to make money, even if it was not much.
Items, are humans, like you and me that are forced into a life of service to another, this
Choose is made by the parent from birth, and can't be changed, there systems, there rewards are minimum compared to normal systems, there life, future, hopes, and dreams are taken away before they are even born, with one choice, one word.
Will cal survive in such a cruel world? Being handed the worse in life? Will he rise above the rest? will he give up and accept his fate?
We are about to find out.
