"When was it?" - Makarov asked regretfully because he couldn't be there for this important moment.

"Six years ago" - replied Alzack with embarrassment - "And I don't want to admit it, but it was Bisca who asked me to marry her".

"Ya, get over it" - Bisca snorted as she looked at her husband.

"I don't think I can get over it when every time I enter the guild, those idiots ask where my husband is" - Alzack replied with embarrassment.

Natsu and the others, let out a laugh at this while Kurama shook his head.

"Ok, I know I didn't act in the best way, but it's not that bad either, right?" - Alzack asked with a frown.

"Sorry, dude" - that was all Kurama said as Alzack sighed in despair.

"Welcome to [Fairy Tail]!" - Laki exclaimed as she smiled at the stunned looks of Natsu and the rest.

"This is our guild?!" - Natsu shouted in surprise as he looked closely at Laki, then at the guild that was twice or three times as big as their old guild.

"Yes, thanks to our guild master" - replied Laki with pride and slight embarrassment as she noticed how her companions looked at her with a smile - "What? it's true!"

"Impressive, how did you manage to pay for this upgrade?" - Lucy asked in surprise as this was too much money, even with high ranking missions.

"It was thanks to your father, Lucy" - answered Laki honestly - "After hearing that you were alive and would be back in 7 years, he overcame the depression that the news had brought him, and decided to help us"

"My father?" - Lucy murmured with tears running down her eyes - "He's fine."

"Yes, thanks to the money Kurama gave him, together with him overcoming his depression, made him manage to expand his company" - answered Laki while giving her a smile - "I'm sure he has to be waiting for you inside"

"Dad!" - Lucy exclaimed excitedly as she ran inside the guild.

"Well, again I welcome you to [Fairy Tail]" - said Laki as the door again opened, showing all the guild members smiling in her direction.

"Welcome!" - [Fairy Tail] members exclaimed as they tearfully saw so many familiar faces.

Natsu entered the remodeled building with surprise and saw so many faces that were now very different from the ones he remembered, but his expression changed when he saw Gajeel, talking to a waitress with a girl of about 3 years old next to him - "I see it and I don't believe it!"

"Ugh, I knew he would react like that" - Gajeel muttered as he shook his head, but his expression changed when he saw Juvia, so he gave her a smile - "It's been so long, Juvia."

"Gajeel-kun? You look... different" - Juvia murmured with a sad smile, but her expression changed to one of excitement when she saw how the little girl looked at her curiously - "She's my niece?"

"Ugh, yes, she's Aiko" - replied Gajeel as he told his daughter to go to her aunt - "I wanted to name her something else, but my wife remained reluctant, now that the years have passed, I'm glad about this because I understand my bad sense for naming things"

Juvia let out a small laugh as she took the little girl - "Hello, my name is Juvia, and I'm your aunt."

"Hello, aunt Juvia, daddy told me about you" - Aiko answered with a big smile.

"I hope good things" - Juvia answered while narrowing her eyes.

"That you were the best friend he ever had, and how much he missed you" - nodded Aiko as she looked at her father, who could only look away to hide his embarrassment.

"Really?" - Juvia asked with a happy smile, after all, she and Gajeel were like siblings since they met.

"Not true" - muttered Gajeel as he snorted in annoyance.

"Hi, my name is Akane, and I'm Gajeel's wife" - said Akane as she introduced herself - "He's never been one of those people who know how to show well how he feels."

"I know, he's been that way for years" - Juvia nodded as she conversed with the wife of her brother of all but blood.

"You should be on my side" - growled Gajeel as the others laughed at this interaction.

"Amazing that the grumpy boy, not only married, but with a daughter as well" - Makarov muttered in surprise, though the fatherly smile didn't disappear from his face.

Gajeel grunted with annoyance, but said nothing to defend himself.

The group continued to look around, until they heard someone walking from the second floor.

Makarov looked in that direction, only to open his eyes to the surprise of a person he immediately recognized despite the passage of years - "Laxus?"

"It's been a while, old man" - Laxus replied with a placid smile as he jumped up and stood in front of the old guild master.

The situation became tense for some reason as Natsu and the other members who were away for 7 years looked on with apprehension, though their expressions changed as they watched Laxus grab his grandfather and give him a hug before bursting into tears.

Makarov was surprised at this, but quickly returned the hug as he listened to his grandson apologize for his attitude in the past.

"I never thought our guild master, would cry again" - Gajeel said sarcastically, only to cry out in pain after feeling lightning strike him full on - "Grr!"

"You've earned it, Gajeel" - replied Akane while shaking her head.

"Wait, Laxus is the guild master?!" - Natsu exclaimed, surprised by this strange situation, more so when he couldn't imagine that all the guild improvements came from the hands of someone who was only looking for a guild of strong people.

"I know, we were a bit skeptical at first too, but after a few months of seeing how hard he was trying, we decided to accept him as our leader, and now we don't regret this decision" - Macao replied while the other members of [Fairy Tail] nodded - "The only problem, is that now we have to train on weekends and some of us are getting old already"

"Say it for yourself, I'm still as young as I was seven years ago" - Wakaba said as he let out a laugh at his friend, though as he laughed he started coughing - "Ugh"

"Sure, as young as seven years ago" - Macao repeated sarcastically as the others laughed at all this.

"Now that you're back, I'm sure you have a lot of questions, so I'll answer as best I can" - said Laxus as he set his grandfather down - "By the way, when you're done, I have some news to give you."

"Ok" - nodded Makarov as he started to think - "What has happened during all this time?"

"If I'm honest, not much has happened" - Laxus replied with a frown - "It's like it's the calm before the storm."

"What do you mean?" - Natsu asked with annoyance.

"That there have been only a few events that are remarkable during these years" - Laxus answered calmly - "First, the change in the magic council, second, the creation of the magic games, some events where legal guilds can compete for the name of the best guild in Fiore"

"That's interesting" - Natsu murmured as his eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Anything else?" - Makarov asked because this was strange.

7 years was enough time for many things to change, but according to his grandson's words, these changes had not appeared.

"The dark guilds have been making strange movements, there hasn't been much activity from them, it's like they are gathering strength, but it's strange because it's been 7 years" - Laxus answered with a frown - "We have made investigations about it, but we haven't found clues to their whereabouts, so we decided to keep alert for any changes."

"I see" - Makarov muttered as he looked around - "I see you've done a good job, Laxus, I couldn't be more proud of you."

Laxus smiled at these words as he felt as if all his efforts, were finally rewarded.

"Anyway, what was it you wanted to tell us?" - Makarov asked, as he felt this was important.

The members of [Fairy Tail] were silent as they looked at the group with different kinds of smiles.

Natsu frowned at this because he felt like he was a circus animal.

"Well, it's something that's crucial for us" - Laxus said as he falsely coughed to calm his heart, and the mocking smiles of his guild mates weren't helping.

"Us?" - Makarov repeated as he looked around with a frown because it didn't seem like Laxus was talking about the whole guild. He was thinking for a few seconds until an idea popped into his mind - "Is it, what I think it is?"

Laxus nodded firmly as he motioned for Laki to come closer - "Grandfather, Laki and I, we're getting married, we were waiting for your return, so you'd be at our wedding."

Makarov, Natsu, and the other members who were left in frozen time, didn't know what to say at this as the members of [Fairy Tail] laughed and celebrated this news.

"You two?" - Makarov asked as he looked at his grandson and Laki with a huge, happy smile as tears ran down his cheeks.

"Yes, she was the person who supported me, and advised me during my regime as guild master" - Laxus replied with a warm smile as he looked at his fiancée - "Honestly, I don't think I see myself with any other woman but her".

"Congratulations!" - [Fairy Tail] members exclaimed as they made a huge toast to the bride and groom.
