"Are you seriously going to join another fight in your current state?" I asked as I glanced at Yaluk. The Void mage looked at me as he walked beside me with a limp.
"I can make do, sir." Yaluk said in defiance of his injuries and fatigue.
I shook my head, "You're too stubborn for your own good, Yaluk. But I find your perseverance and strong head to be much of a boon in these trying times."
I held my hand out and cast a healing spell over his head, flushing him of all his weariness and rejuvenating his battered body.
After ten seconds of intense discomfort wherein Yaluk felt his bones move and reform inside his body, the mage found himself with a new sense of freshness and energy. Every wound he had just vanished.
It was as if the injuries he sustained and the fatigue that had built up within him mere moments ago were never real in the first place.
