The Hidden Mage

Vali wakes up as his alarm is screaming at him to return to reality from his dreams, as he wipes his eyes to get rid of his sleepiness he slowly rises our from his warm bed and shivers from the cold air that greedily covers his naked upper body for the heat that emanates from him, waking him up the sudden chill on his body but one that he welcomes.

He then proceeds to walk to the bathroom, picking up a towel on the way, and starts to shower. Once finished he then drys himself and heads to his kitchen down the small hallway of the apartment he owns, obtained by using part of his inheritance to buy the cheap place when he had to move from his birth home when his parents died, his dad from a part of the construction site collapsing and his mother overworking herself to death when she had to take care of him and herself.

So he has a decent amount of money to spend for the rest of his single life and not having to work and so he indulged himself in watching and reading as many comics, manga, novels and anime and movies.

After entering the kitchen he prepares his breakfast by grabbing a medium sized bowl and a mug from the shelf to his right and takes out milk and orange juice from the fridge to his left, pours the remaining orange juice into the mug and throws it into the bin behind him and turns to the cupboard above his head to take out some cereal and pour the contents into the bowl and place it back, then he pours the milk on top and also puts the milk back in the fridge, grabs a spoon and sits Infront of the TV to watch the news.

After a long hour Vali stands up and enters the kitchen and washes the bowl and spoon thoroughly, once done he places them on the drying rack and heads to the bathroom once again to clean his teeth and do his business.

Refreshed Vali heads to his room and tidies it up and puts all the comics and manga on the shelves in an orderly manner, Vali then starts to browse through his collection untill he finds one of his DC comics missing, he starts to become confused until he remembered that he lent it to a friend a week ago so he can catch up on what he missed.

He then picks up his phone and calls his friend and waits for him to pick up. " Hey dude what's up and why are you calling? " Was what came out as his friend asks him. " Nothings up much but I remembered that you haven't returned the batman comic I gave you to catch up on back yet and so I was wondering when you want to return it. " " Oh, so it was for the comic? Uh, yeah sure already finished it so we could meet up at the café where we usually go if it is alright with you? " " I got no problem with that Johnny, so I will see you in about an hour at the café then, bye. " " Okay see you soon. "

Quickly Vali got dressed in a loose shirt and scruffy but wearable pants and trainers, grabbed the keys dangling from a hook and swiftly exited the house and lock the door.

Half an hour later Vali sees the café he will meet Johnny in and enters it, quickly finding a small table for him and Johnny as the café is starting to become busy. Soon Johnny enters the café and spots Vali ordering from the waitress that approached him.

" Excuse me miss but I would like a coffee please. " Said Johnny as he sat down at the table. The waitress seemed to be troubled by this " it is alright, he is with me. " Spoke Vali as he saved the waitress in which smiled gratefully at him and went off with their order.

" The comic as asked. " Johnny said in mock seriousness as he placed it onto the table. "Thank you for bringing it back in one piece. " " Hey! I love comics as much as you do but I at least don't spend my whole day reading them as I do have school to go to. " " Yeah yeah I know but one time you did nearly rip a page though. " " I NEARLY ripped it up and not ripped it so you can have trust in me for not doing it. " " That's why I still lend you my comics even after some hesitation. " "Oh, uh thanks for trusting me this much then, hehe..."

After some awkward silence the waitress swooped in and delivered the drinks for the two young men saving the two from the awkward silence. They both talked until they finished their drinks and waited for the bill and once done headed outside.

"Right then I will be off otherwise my mum will be worried sick about me so I'll see you again if there is something I need to catch up on."

"Bye then and don't forget to tell your mom I said hi!" "Will do!" And off went Johnny as he ran back to his house.

Vali then sighs in sadness as he knows what awaits him will just be an apartment that is empty and nobody to come home to but although he is saddened he doesn't let it affect him, unfortunately today it will affect not in mentally but physically as Vali suddenly feels abnormal pain on his left side of his body.

He was confused for a moment until he hears screaming and gasps and somebody shouting for an ambulance, then he realised that he was involved in getting hit by a car and is now dying.

When he realised this fact he took the news better than he thought but it might be due to the fact that he only had his parents look after him for the first fourteen years of his life and know he has lived for four years later and is left lying on the floor dying wondering what he wanted to do, to be.

Thats right what I wanted to be was a superhero like Superman or Batman but eventually dropped the idea as I grew older and saw how much damage they cause by not killing the super villains and allow them to live so that they can change but they never did and go back to harming lots of innocent people, whether it be in their fights or the villains sick plots of harming lots of innocent people for joy like the Joker does to get Batman to kill him or have him break his code.

I could easily end the suffering of many by just ending people like Joker and make the world peaceful until new threats come.

As if it is possible to happen though and not like some powerful being will appear right now saying it is possible.

"But it is child and very simple for me to do."

I'm not going insane now am I? As I think I heard a voice just reply to me just know.

"No you are not insane child as I am as real as you are now." Ah, so what do you want then since you clearly want to talk with me.

"What I want is to fulfill your wish to be better than the DC world's superheroes." Why would you want to do that though as it doesn't seem to bring you any benefit.

"You are wrong as doing this gives me more good karma, of which can allow me to ascend further into godhood."

So what are you willing to give me then since I can't get as strong as I want to be as fast as I want it to be and not go down Batman's path of training.

"Simple, I am allowed to grant at least four wishes as that is my limit."

My first wish is to have a similar physique to a saiyan in how they can train their bodies limitlessly or something similar. My second is to use shadow magic, third is a suit that can help control my strength for my normal life with the ability to act like a symbiote without eating me and an A.I like Jarvis and has no weakness. The fourth wish is that no one can link me to my super identity even with evidence unless I trust them and tell them myself.

"Your wishes are granted and I hope you have fun in your new life."
