So you have to be aware but of course if they want to make a surprise attack on me, they first have to go over my enhanced senses and my magical sense that works about 10 meters around me.

They are like 10 and they are preparing an ambush for us since they are placing themselves around us.

5 on the right side and 5 on the left... but, because neither alba nor wutong have warned.

I open my eyes and since I hadn't stopped walking I try to see out of the corner of my eye to see if I can find our hunters.

And... I don't see anything... wait, I think I saw something like the predator movie, an invisible being... and I know one of the species that can make itself invisible that way... it's a chameleon.

Taking a deep breath I concentrate and try to increase the range of my mana senses to about 15 meters so I can tell if my guess is correct.

11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, making a small face at the extra information that is reaching my brain, I can already say that they have the shape of chameleons.

'Ok... alba, wutong act normal, be prepared because we are surrounded and possibly soon they will start attacking us, so prepare to defend yourself' - I said while they were a little surprised before acting as if they didn't care. I would have said nothing, I didn't talk to Tsubasa since he fell asleep... lazy cat.

5 minutes have passed and they haven't attacked us... Ok ok calm down, we shouldn't always be waiting for them to attack us, they may just want to know if we are friends or enemies?

While I was trying to calm down I feel the chameleons start to come closer to us.

And they stop 6 meters away from us and I feel that they begin to charge mana inside their mouths on their tongues... if now that they are closer I can say that their mana is as big as wutong's 9 days ago.

'Ok... get ready, they're going to start attacking' - I said while alba and wutong prepared their mana.

5 of them were still charging their attack while the other 5 were waiting for them.

'Ok... already create a shield' - I said as tongues began to come out at high speed towards us, alba and wutong quickly created a shield each of their respective element.

The tongues ended up colliding with the ice and light shields, while the 5 tongues that collided with the ice shield stuck together and froze a bit, the ones that collided with the light shield almost destroyed it but didn't prevent the light from burning them.

While the chameleons took time to process everything, I gathered mana in my right paw claws and tail, to create a wind claw that sent it to the left and a wind slash that was sent to the right, all up. .

All this in a few seconds, the wind claws and the wind cut, ended up cutting the tongues of the chameleons in half, even though only 7 while the other 3 managed to remove them, not without taking a deep cut on them.

You could see the blood they started spilling so their camouflage no longer works.

I turned my gaze to Alba and wutong, I signal them to finish them off.

They go, Alba begins to create 10 arrows of ice and wutong does the same but these are of light, they shoot the arrows towards the chameleons that two fell under the arrows of light and three under the ice ones, the others managed to dodge the arrows in time arrows.

The five remaining chameleons, seeing that they are at a disadvantage, start running to escape, of course I didn't let them.

'You end up against the two left on the right, I'll take care of the three on the left' - I said as I opened my mouth and began to gather mana, wind began to spin at high speed.

Alba and wutong start creating a spear each as they throw them towards the two chameleons on the right.

I will only say their aim is one of the best I have seen, they managed to hit the heads of chameleons from 20 meters away. (the fastest chameleons in history: v)

While I had already finished charging my attack so I fired it towards the three chameleons who don't know the term when it comes to escaping, split up and live longer. (:v)

Total 30 meters the powerful rotating wind ball ended up hitting the one in the center and...

Boooooommmmmm!

If that's what he was talking about...although a little underwhelming I was expecting a great fight.

'What, what happened' - asked a half-asleep Tsubasa... how is she waking up now after I wasn't even careful to move when I attacked first... what a lazy and careless cat, even Silvi woke up and is hiding in my fur

'...' - I stared at her out of the corner of my eye, I sighed and said - 'nothing, they just attacked us'

'But why didn't you tell me... oh'-I ask surprised until she realized that I was looking at her without saying anything, she turned her eyes and says-'well done?'.

I just shook my head for now let's leave it at that.

'So what's up?' - Ignoring the lazy cat, I turned my gaze towards Alba and Wutong who are looking at the chameleons they killed with the spears.

Alba shook her head, approached me and leaned back - 'we didn't realize that they were following us without you telling us'.

Wutong also came closer as he continued to fly.

'Well I wouldn't have noticed either if it wasn't for my enhanced senses so it's ok we're still newbies at this' - I said as I started to walk away from this place, the smell of blood can attract more monsters.

Alba nodded as she was watching the right side and wutong was watching the left.

'Well…I was hoping for one more fight, I don't know…exciting?' - I thought to myself as I kept walking.

Putting my senses back to 10 meters, I sigh because of the headache I have even though 5 more meters doesn't seem like much, yes it is since I'm feeling everything that has mana and literally everything has mana... so you will tell me.

Well...on to the journey what a disappointing fight...hopefully I'll get a more exciting one later.
