After the scene was filmed, there was another scene of Daniel driving in the rain to chase after Lt. Cdr. Galloway. They filmed this scene for a long time under the rain created by a sprinkler truck.

Hugo was soaked in the rain for almost an hour, but no one noticed anything abnormal until Joseph did after they finished filming.
