Chapter 1CHAPTER -1: THE REVENGE I SWORE THAT DAY
The kingdom of Varanasi with its buzzing streets and the aroma that rose from the temple was really pleasant for all the people who lived there. It was 302 AD the time in which the caste system had its wings over the people. The Brahmins (the highest caste), the Kshatriyas (second highest) Vaishyas, and Shudras (the ones in the bottom line). However, these were the known castes in the kingdom. Apart from them there existed another fifth one, the Galna caste. The king of Varanasi, Darah Khalnayik had already begun his process of cleaning the whole city by eradicating the Galna caste. This caste was believed to be the reciprocation of the devils. The king could not digest the idea of devils living in the city. Thus the plan was initiated. By 302 almost all of them were wiped off. But the clean expected thorough cleaning of the city. He desired all of them to cease their existence. On a fateful day, the king got information about the supreme leader of the Galna. The supreme leader popularly known as the Dark King was a man called Sukoh Mahadev. The other intel was about the Queen of Galna, Sukoh Tribuvana. She was his wife. That was the only intel the king had possessed. Hence. the king started his plan to execute them.Soldiers started to march through the streets: the trembling ground, the vibrating stones. The light is reflected from the armor of the soldiers. That day everyone knew that was the end of the thread for the Galna. This news reached the ears of Mahadev and Tribuvana. They had to make an urgent decision. Hence, it was to leave the city and depart for the kingdom of Thanja. The city of Thanja had allies of the Galna in there. They informed their servants to make the arrangements for that. Unfortunately, the king was one step ahead of them. The king's spy who informed him about their identities was mixed among them. This information reached the king the next moment. Tribuvana and Mahadev departed to Thanja. They had to cross the river of Ganga. They boarded the ferry and the next sight was unfortunate for them. A huge fleet had already appeared from both sides of the river and infantry on both ends of the land. They were already in a horrible deadlock. The orders of the king were to capture them alive. The naval fleet and the infantry approached them and swiftly wiped them off. Captured them alive and imprisoned them. They were to be publicly executed. The king suspected that they had children. However, there was no intel about both of them having children even among their most loyal servants. But that was far from the truth, they had children. Three of them, an older son and twin sisters. They were adopted by the temple priest, the priest himself didn't know about the real parents of those children and they didn't know about them. Except one, the elder son. He didn't have the infant's amnesia and he remembers their names as well as their faces. He was 10 years old and his sisters were 7. After hearing the news about the capture of his parents he sunk into an ocean of despair. He knew what his parents were and he deeply believed that they would make Varanasi a place where the Galna could coexist with others. But now everything had become a tragedy. The next day he lied about going to play and went to the spot where the execution was meant to take place. It had already begun. Khalnayik was resting on his grand throne above all the others. He grinned over them with that tyrant look. Tribuvana and Mahadev were on their knee, bowed before the king. Yadav dashed among the people and approached the front of the multitude. They were to be beheaded, the King declared that from today on the kingdom of Varanasi is to be clean. Two soldiers with black face masks, symbols of the devils who were meant to lead both of them to hell appeared there. The swords were black and the holy ones were meant to purify the devils. The winds started to blow through that street. The rain clouds appeared there and the downpour started. The two people shook their swords against their heads. Before that Yadav rushed back to the back periphery of the multitude behind the tree. During the moment before he noticed something. His mother noticed him and slowly turned his eyeballs towards him. That look had all the message she wanted to convey to her son. Those eyes said to become a great person, to look after your sisters and to look after your new family. Despite she had not even seen him for a decade she exactly knew that he was her son. That was the bond between a mother and her children. He heard a huge roar from the front, that roar indicated that the blades finally stuck their heads apart from their bodies. Tears started to roll down from his eyes and a new fire inside him was born that day. That fateful day changed everything for him. His parents ceased to exist that day. And he inherited the fire from his parents that day. After the execution, the rain ceased and a rainbow appeared in the blue sky and that was the cleanest rainbow that he had ever seen. To him, this seemed a message from his mother. It said that their life had ended and it was his time, a new era for the kingdom of Varanasi. A new era in which the people known as the Galna don't exist. But an era in which new devils might appear. An era in which new evil deeds might be done by the Khalnayik. But it can also be an era in which the heavens might finally end the thousand-year system that prevents people's joy and their coexistence. Who dies every day doesn't matter, the sun will still rise the next day and the blue sky will appear out. As said the sun finally came out.Yadav was in his room after the sight he saw yesterday, after that certain thoughts lingered in his mind. To become someone who was even above this system of castes. He set out of his house to play and his normal Chinese friends surrounded him. They said that they were finally going back to their homeland, China the next day. They were the children of the Chinese merchants who had settled in the Kingdom of Varanasi. They started to explain about their homeland. China was a kingdom prosperous for their warriors who were said to be descended from the heavens. The greatest people have existed there, the great generals who were said to be the members of the heavens. A country having the army power to conquer the whole of this kingdom in a single campaign. Having uncountable members in their armies. After hearing that a new sparkle appeared in his eyes. The fire he inherited that day could be seen in his eyes. All of his friends could see that fire. Yadav asked," Can I come with you?" They were amazed after hearing that statement. Yadav rushed to the temple to meet his father. He ran through the city along the sun that appeared to be moving. He reached the temple, he could feel the huge presence of his father. His father was a yogi, who had this undefined force circling him. He came to the temple's main room and told his father he wanted to become the greatest. His father looked at him with those powerful eyes, but that time he noticed something. Even though he was his foster father, he could feel the counterpower radiating from those eyes. He asked," What do you mean by the greatest? and how he was intending to become that." He replied," China, I will go to China and become their so-called greatest men 'general' and the highest man there. Then one day I will come back and take the whole of this kingdom and rule it. I will make an era where everyone coexists together. An era where there are no Brahmins, no Kshatriyas, no Vaishyas. There will only be people." That time his father felt the same aura that surrounded him his son. It was much more tremendous than his. The power of the heavens could be felt above him. The father declared," You don't know the true meaning of greatest. Therefore, go to China, find out, and come back and make this era the greatest." He declared to all the gods in that temple," I will become the greatest. I will make this era the greatest." The strong wind came to blow from the outside of the temple and the bells in that temple started to ring due to those heavy winds. The fire started to flourish more and the heat in the temple rose. That day his father felt the power of his son. He walked out of that temple in that wind and disappeared.

The God of Calamity’s Wife: before the beginning book 1

caution: violent scenes and child endangerment- this is a post war world set in Norse mythology and the world is on the brink of war again- Centuries ago, war shattered Asgard. Tired of living in the shadow of the Aesir, Loki and his creatures of chaos sought the respect they believed was their due. Their rebellion, however, brought only death, exile, and the fleeting victory of the Aesir. But gods cannot die forever, and Loki’s defeat came with a prophecy: the war would come again, and next time, he would be ready. Many began to question whether Odin was truly fit to rule the realms. (But that was not my concern. I am an entity of death, a Fylgia bound to the cycles of life and fate. My interest lies elsewhere—with two souls cursed by Odin to live, die, and repeat their lonely existence for eternity. Sirius and Saoirse. For centuries, I’ve watched them endure lives destined for isolation and suffering. I’ve grown tired of their pain. What if they didn’t have to be alone? What if I could give them a chance to defy fate? And, perhaps, what if I could become part of the story that I’ve shaped? These were my thoughts leading up to the beginning of this story. But meddling with destiny has consequences. I probably should have paid more attention to that war, because what I didn’t realize was, by changing one thing, a ripple would expand across the realms that nobody could have anticipated.) Sirius and Saoirse, they weren’t just any Vampire and Werewolf that could have been brought together. They are creatures that must come to terms with the demon beasts inside of them or bringing them together might just end up finishing what Loki’s children had started. The problem is, all they want is a legacy. author note: This story builds a bit slower at the beginning and then picks up more action when they get to Asgard, so don’t worry, this book will have 500 chapters and this is just the beginning!
