Null:

Twenty minutes passed since I mentioned the man I met in the park, The Dean, and Mr Patrick forced me to take them to the exact spot where I met Null.

We are currently walking down a sidewalk heading towards the park. Both Dean and Patrick are following me closely behind.

Dean is talking on a phone holding it close to her ear, Patrick is just staring at me watching every single one of my movements,

I can tell they are suspicious of me. Do they think I work for that man?

We walk for a few more minutes until we reach the raggy old park, I walk into the forest and they quickly follow me, I stare forward walking until the Dean suddenly speaks,

" Do you want to know why your ability is acting strange? It's because of Null's ability, He destroyed one's ability, He wiped your ability from existence, "

He wiped my ability from existence? D-Does that mean people can finally remember who I am? I started walking slightly faster as a smile slowly crept up on my face.

If they can remember, does that mean I can finally experience what life is truly like? My speed continues to increase until The Dean suddenly shouts out,

" Hey slow down- "

Before she could finish her sentence a sudden roar screamed out, my ears started to ring from the abrupt noise as the ground started to shake underneath me, I looked to my right as the silhouette of a monster could be seen through the cover of trees,

I start backpedaling as the monster charges toward us unrooting the trees as he smashes through them. A piece of fractured bark flies through the air grazing my face and causing a small cut.

I wipe the cut with my thumb before my eyes widen as I look at my bloody thumb, my blood is slowly turning purplish green, I look back at the monster as it gets closer,

" Don't get hit by the flying bark. It's somehow poisonous."

I shouted out. The Dean and Patrick nod their heads before the Dean looks back at me speaking.

" Thank you for telling us. But run directly south and go deeper into this forest. After we defeat this beast, we'll come to retrieve you.

Without a second of hesitation, I quickly turn around and slam my foot deep into the soil as I start sprinting. My hair blows in the wind as I run past tree after tree.

The sound of a beast coming to a screeching stop enters my ears before a deafening roar blows around the leaves around me.

Looks like their battle is starting.

I keep running as the sound of their battle gets quieter and quieter, I eventually come to a stop breathing heavily, I hold onto my knees gasping for air,

I look around before sitting down on a fallen mossy tree log.

I didn't know beasts like those appeared in this park. I had never seen something so unstoppable before.

I wonder if-

Before I could finish thinking to myself I got a sudden urge to look up. I looked up and saw a man with green hair standing directly above me, standing on a tree branch.

" Wow, I don't know how you sense this good kid, "

It's Null, I stare up at him while sitting up off the log, I cough before I speak to him

" It seems you can still remember me as Null and as a thank you for removing my ability, I'll tell you that my Dean and one of my teachers are fighting a beast near here. "

He looks at me with a bewildered expression, before he starts to chuckle to himself, he covers his mouth with his hand as he laughs to himself, He laughs for an entire minute until he lets go of his mouth and speaks,

"You're are an interesting one. You're the first person to ever thank me for destroying their ability, but why? Are you not mad that I destroyed your ability?"

" Thanks to you, I can finally experience how life truly is. I've lived a life of isolation since my sixth birthday, but I can finally be remembered. "

I explained to him. He looked at me before a grin appeared on his face as he hopped down from the tree landing directly in front of me.

" Even with me removing your ability, the life you live will be filled with falsehoods. The government you have known is corrupt and false, so instead of you heading back to that, you should join me. "

He says reaching one of his hands out to me. I stare at his hand before I look back up at him catching him off guard.

" I know that the government is corrupt. They sent someone after my life yesterday, but I still want to experience how life is at my school, so how about in two years after I graduate I'll come to join you? "

He stares at me before he slowly nods his head and turns around.

" If you defeated an assassin the government sent after you then you must be somewhat capable. Your proposition sounds perfect. "

" Before I leave David, I must warn you about a woman named Kioro, She has pink hair and is the government's lie detector, She will most likely come to you asking a few questions, So stay far away from her, but this is goodbye "

He says jumping up onto a tree branch. He looks down at me a final time before he suddenly rubs the right side of his face with his thumb.

I stare at him confused, while watching him hop from tree branch to tree branch. Why did he rub the side of his face-

Before I could finish thinking a sudden douse of dizziness rattled my brain, I started to stumble around, I forgot about the poison from that tree bark, I fell onto the ground as sweat started running down my face.

My vision becomes blurry as I breathe heavily. The sounds of the Dean fighting that beast have stopped, which must mean either she defeated the beast or Patrick and she was killed.

I sit there for minutes until I suddenly collapse lying on my back, My vision becomes blurry, I stare up at the blurry blue sky until the sound of footsteps enters my ears,

" Dean, I have found him. He's over here "

That's Patrick's voice. Good, I guess I won't die today. I listen as his footsteps get closer and closer but before he can reach me my vision turns dark...
