The end of the world cured my depression

A loud blaring sound blasted through my head. Pain rang through my whole body for a few seconds as I scrambled around in bed to figure out what had happened. I wasn't anywhere near 100% awake as I scrambled to figure out whether my phone was still on my bed or on the TV stand at the end of my bed. I couldn't remember whether I had it with me when I fell asleep last night or not. I adjusted my bra so it was back on my boobs the way it was meant to be before leaning up in bed. 

That was when I saw it. A glistening blue semi transparent screen floating in thin air.

Below that were five thumbnails with pictures of stars on them. The first had one star, the second had two, the third had three, the fourth had four, and the fifth thumbnail had five stars. I shrugged, and pressed a little tab that was at the far right with a little question mark.

Star selection

The number of stars represents how difficult a class is. A higher number of stars indicates a higher level class, and higher difficulty level. 

1 star is a common class. These classes grant the most skill points, and the most rewards for fighting as a group. 

2 star is an uncommon class. These classes are more individually tailored. Specialty classes. Such as blacksmithing, jewel craft, and support mage. 

3 star is the rare class. These classes are dedicated to elite specialists such as ninja, knight, and ranger. 

4 star is the legendary class. These classes are dedicated to command specific classes such as the necromancer, King/queen, and Commander. The classes boost the strength of the user based on how many people are under their command. 

5 star is the divine class. These classes are limited to those who will grow to have the strength of an army on their own. Such as demi god, dragon slayer, and pope. These classes rarely evolve, and have the lowest survivability. 

You cannot select a star that does not have a compatible class. If you are uncertain what star class you'd wish to select then please use the compatibility search bar. Leave the bar blank, and it will bring up the classes you are compatible with. 

I guess I'll do that then.

What kind of sucky dream gives you a time limit to choose what you want to be? I exited out of the information tab, and searched the blue screen for the search bar. It didn't take long to find since the damn thing was just at the bottom of the screen. I left it blank, and hit search. Five thumbnails popped up before me. 

Warrior 2 stars 100% compatible.

Dragon tamer 5 stars 92% compatible.

Monster tamer 4 stars 87% compatible. 

Beast tamer 4 stars 75% compatible.

Cook 1 star 67% compatible. 

I glanced down at the bottom. This was page one of three so there were eleven to fifteen classes total that I was compatible with. I clicked on warrior.

It's not going to let me see anymore information. That kind of sucks. Nope not gonna be some lame warrior. I clicked on dragon tamer, said yes then the blue screen disappeared. I snuggled back down in my bed, and promptly forgot what I'd just done. 

Falling back into the blissful sleep this whole event had interrupted. While I wasn't paying attention a second smaller screen appeared in front of my blissfully unaware face, and counted down the minutes before dismissing itself then reappearing.

The screen dismissed itself again only for a new one to appear in it's place.

This little window waited in front of my face as I slept blissfully unaware of what was happening in the world around me. While I was still sleeping the whole world was in upheaval. Everyone over the age of fifteen was offered an awakening window. The skills, and rewards that were given to those that chose a class. Every media outlet was commenting on what had happened. 

Then there were the mysterious doors that had appeared in every major city across the globe. All these doors called themselves tutorial dungeons, and had a countdown clock that started at twenty-four hours so nearly twenty-four hours after this door would do something. All the doors had the same description. 

Tutorial dungeon.

Dungeons will become a common sight in just 1 week. This tutorial dungeon has a recommended level of 1-5. A good learning experience for those of you who do not know the system. I pity the fools that didn't accept the gift that they have been offered. This dungeon has weaker low level beasts.

Perfect for training the people that accepted the power of awakening. If a dungeon is not challenged then the dungeon will overflow or break. Once a dungeon overflows or breaks then all the beasts within the dungeon will be unleashed on the immediate area. The dungeon will release a number of waves based on the number of floors the dungeon has. This dungeon has five floors so there will be five waves. 

I highly recommend you challenge the dungeon while the beasts within are contained to the dungeon. Take the easy levels because if you don't you'll be starting this hell with a handicap.
