The Dream to reach Elysian Fields

Hello I would like you to know that this story is not for the weak of mind nor the type that likes happy ending for the character's.This is not for the people who wants happiness but who wishes the harsh and painful truth...

Humanity as we speak is now is dead... for the most part,Human kind is now hiding from the beast that roams the surface realm.

monster of such fill the once echoing streets of cities,the hustle and buzzle made by car or the anyone on the street from vendor's to shopping alley.

Well atleast human interference with nature is lessened why? Since they live underground...

Underground bunkers on a city scale.

Nobody knows what these monster are.

since its been 10 years most people do not remember for the most time.. .....

well thats it for the introduction..

And here the Curtains shall unfold for the people who act,for the people who pretend, for the people of weak, and for the people who yearn to reach the Elysian Fields.

Adam...Adam....Adam..ADAM! Wake Up!! *gasps*Huh what?! hey Adam you alright?

yeah... I always have these dream it always shows the same scene a woman sitting above a stone block inside a ruined building

"Morning Adam"

"Yeah Morning to Allen" I have known Allen since childhood we're like brother.

Allen is older to me by 2 years, I'm 16 and he is 18. He claim's that by the time of the "Accident" he knows what happened.

"Hey Watch Where You're Going Kid *tsk*"

"Sorry" i replied to him

"What a grumpy senile old man"Allen said.

"he he" I replied.

"Adam! hey" a girl's voice called in a distance

I looked where the voice is coming and regretted it.

"ADDAAAMMM!!" The girl launched itself midair and now coming toward me,I was awed at the moment like one of those moment where time goes Slow mo.

She fall toward my face and I became unconscious after that moment

"Adam..Adam.."i see the girl again

"ADDDAAAAMMM!! wake up"Allen said

"Shut it Allen" I replied

"What the hell are you doing here"Allen said to the girl

"Tee hee*hits her head lightly while her eyes winked"she said

I came to my senses and I calmed them while they're still arguing i saw an old man, we whe're in the town's center a place where people meet i saw the old man dressed in tattered clothes,tall and scrawny yet a novel aura eminatte's from him.

"Come're Adam"the girl said

I looked at them and smiled when i turn back the old man is gone.

After that i go to the two who is still arguing

"Adam do you remember me?"the girl asked

"No"I replied

the two we're shocked,they were speechless and then Allen said:

"Yeah Adam don't remember you get lost little girl"Allen said sarcasticly

The girl on the brink of crying she looks like a useless goddess who always drink and pester his partner

she suddenly grab my collar and then shakes me violently saying

"AdamAdamAdam"she was funny

after she cried i asked her name

she said "Marian"

"Okay....Marian"

Suddenly the horn was sound,people on the town goes to there houses or i should say appartments. the town square is the only large space which people can go to and the're is this giant gait which guarded by soldier it's around North of the Bunker Town or i should say city.

i call this place a town because that's where people of all ages and race's are piled at the south there is this another giant gait rumore has it its there were people of royalty with military power and people thers have special powers used to defeat those monsters.

of course i don't believe such rumor..

at the east and west side the're is this giant pillar,there are 6 pillar at each side each has a elevator inside,i have'nt been there but i know how people goes to the top using elevators powered by a leverage and machine

at the above of the town a arching structure where it is the soldiers or the local police hq.

as we go to my apartment we saw the military brigade holding glowing swords and weird weapons.

"those people have no mercy for people outside this bunker."an old man said

as we walk i noticed more people came outside to eavesdrop and talk to the neighbors.

"hey Marian and Allen" I said to those two.

they looked at me and asked "what is it?"

i replied "I think we should Stay for a moment"

"why?" "Nothing.... I think we should look what is happ-" The whole place suddenly shakes we we're stunned and as i gain hold of the situation the beast that the military bring is still alive it break free..

"Aaaaahhhhh ..AAAHHHHHHAAHH HAHAHAAAAAAH." screams were everywhere

i was stunned for a moment as if my legs where permanently stuck.

Allen and Marian screamed at me both looked pale Allen shouted at me "GODDAMMIT ADAM LET'S GO NOOWW AADDAAMMM"

i gained consciousness and we started running toward a tunnel military personel guided us there.. Another bunker but smaller than the town

the walls were made up of some metal and the floor is made up off cement the light is quite dim as we walked through we saw some people who were severely injured,some look's like they're on the brink of death.

as we go forward with the others i saw the old man i got bumped earlier looks like he is dead blood filled the white of his eyes blood is coming out his mouth it was a horrid sight as you could hear people wailing and cry its a sad scene.

We came at quite the distance from the entrance its quite a long tunnel.

the people opposite to our spot,they look like we're in the same age bracket the boy opposite to mine he had a bruise on his left eye then one of them suddenly talk to us

"Howdy are you guys fine?" he asked

Allen answered "We're fine, you and you're pals there arr you guys alright?"

"Apparently we're fine... to be frank we we're lucky... it's not the beast i was scared at that moment it's the crowd. we were just walking around as usual then we heard... the horn the brigade come in like usual but there is no beast...but this time they've brought a monster,we were close at the scene when that happened i... no we..we saw it an amalgamation,beast an Aberration"

he cried...

he lost his cool composure he and his friend

started sobbing Allen and Marian and me comforted them.

They stopped sobbing and then started introducing themselves

"Hi im Josh" the guy who talked to us. the guy

with a bruise in his eyes said "Fred..Nice to meet you" and a third guy he was hesitant at first but talked eventually saying "My Name is Ariel" Marian smiled and said "What a cute name·" Allen and others including me started laughing "What a nice way to break the ice" I said to Marian.

some time passed and there is this guy walked by us an ominous aura eminatting from him.

We waited there some ration came given to us by a military man.

they've given us 3 bottle of water and biscuits

it does not taste good but still better than nothing. We stayed there for approximately 4 more hours until we were freed.

The town was destroyed

full of casualties,bodies,and blood

bodies of fallen soldiers

and the beast body lying on the town square

at this moment the life that people were used to and grow with.
