"Are you kidding me?" I asked, dropping the bags and my jaw.
"I'll tell you the details later; as for now, we must leave. Immediately."
"Are you kidding me!?"
Fey sighed sadly and patted my back, "Unfortunately, he's not."
Sighing defeatedly, I brought the bags up and nodded at Fey. "Let's go."
"Huh?"
"Let's go."
"What do you mean?"
What do I mean? What do YOU mean?
"Let's leave." I rephrased, emphasizing the 'let's.
Her eyes widened and it seems as if realization hit her, hard. "Oh, no-no-no." She laughed, "I'm staying, while you guys leave."
I raised an eyebrow, "Wait, what?"
Adam coughed awkwardly and said, "We're actually living together. Just, you know, the... uh..."
I raised an eyebrow.
"Just the two of you." Fey rolled her eyes and smiled a little bit. "I'll take care of your grandpa, don't you worry."
I mean, I worry about my grandpa too -no duh- but I'm also worried about living with a guy who wears a black suit 24/7 part.
I shook my head. "No."
Adam's eyes widened. "Excuse me?"
"No." I glared. "This is my life, so technically, I'm the one who's making decisions for myself."
He scoffed, "Excuse me missy, but you have no say in this." He pointed a finger at me. "I get the fact that this is your life, but I'll let you read a letter that is written by your grandfather that shows that I am your official bodyguard."
Then he smirked, "So technically," He's mocking me. "You're my obligation. Your life is mine, so as mine is yours."
This time, my eyes widened. I did my very best not to raise my middle finger right now.
Yes, he's just so hot that my middle finger got a boner. -excuse my language.
Based on my observations, it looks like Adam is Franco's right hand. Plus, we're inside -ersh, under? We're under the Underground which means that I'm in a place full of assassins that may and will kill me by one snap of that shit head's fingers.
So basically, me + raising the bird = My death. Simple math.
