BESTIE GOT MY BACK

BESTIE GOT MY BACK

Jack sat in his office, he was using his right leg to hit the floor as a means to remove the tension from his body, he was waiting for George to send him the perfect woman but he lacked that kind of patience.

When his phone rang, he smiled as he saw the caller's name. It was George and that means his perfect girlfriend had been found.

"Jack! what is going over there? hope you're not disturbing Dianne too much if you know I mean." George said in an overly sweet tone.

Jack slightly laughed and cleared his throat, "George shut up! So have you seen a good match for me?" Jack asked eagerly.

"Calm down bro, you reek of desperation, that's bad." George made fun of Jack as he twirled the drink in his hand.

Jack put his hand on his temple, "That's because I am desperate, The only way to get the deal is if I have a serious girlfriend, you know I need this deal. So do you have a girl for me, yes or no?" Jack asked authoritatively.

George laughed, "Damn bro! You always have to spoil the mood, just a little teasing and you go nuts. Anyways, I have seen a perfect lady for you and I know you will like her once you see her. I'll send you her details and you guys can meet up." George told Jack and send him the details via an email.

"Thanks man; I know I could trust you." Jack said smiling.

"Anytime bro, I got you." George said, feeling proud of himself.

After ending the call with George, he went through the lady's profile.

Name: Emelia Watson

Hair color: Red hair

Height: 5'3

Job: A waitress at November Cafe.

He yawned, becoming disinterested in her profile as he went through her details.

"What a boring lady." He thought.

She was beautiful but she didn't have the features he sought in a woman he kept on scrolling through her profile, after all, he wasn't looking for a real girlfriend.

But what caught his attention was "love to mingle with no attachment involved" Jack read it and became interested. She was just like him and he found it satisfying to know her.

She was his perfect match and he was very eager to see her.

He was very pleased with George findings and started a conversation with her and they decided to meet up at Francisco restaurant, on a Friday night for a date.

Jack was surprised, he thought women liked to be wooed and sweet-talked first but she accepted his invitation just like that as if she was waiting for him to chat with her.

He felt it would take time to try to get her to reply to his messages before asking her to go on a date with him but it was too easy. Maybe she is a carefree person and doesn't follow the status quo, he thought.

He shrugged his wide shoulders. He faced his attention to his table, attending to the documents on his desk.
