Supreme Demon

The bright rays of the sun shun brightly upon the surface of Earth.

Within a small corner, to be more precise.

A humble town by the name: Lonbridge Town.

On Its outskirt.

Three kids could be seen playing football.

"Hey hey, here." A young boy with a slim body, green eye, and a frail and feeble body that seemed to be able to collapse at any point in time.

Bam! The ball hit the young kid's chest, as he controlled it with great skills.

Giving a 360 turn while throwing the ball up, the ball made way for the sky.

Upon making Its way back onto the Earth's surface thereby obeying the law of gravity.

The young kid suddenly performed an astounding feet, one which any normal youth might not be able to accomplish.

He did an overhead kick in mid air, almost three meters in mid air.

Bam!! His legs gave the ball a perfect and precise kick.

The ball shot out like an arrow paying Its to its master's commandment.

Bam!! The net got turn apart, the goalkeeper had no chance to even try to move his arms or body as he watched the ball swiftly pass by him, as a dangerous whirlwind rose up, brushing against his cheek.

Dexter, how many times will you tear that net.

The young goalkeeper complained.

Dexter gave a light smile.

Not really my fault.

Yet Zareil you should have been able to handle that ball, what happened.

The last boy who just happened to be a handsome kid by the name Max questioned.

Sigh!! Nothing much.

Glancing towards the direction of the so called great abode.

The Lonbridge Town

Dexter could understand how he was feeling

Don't worry, we will all make it there one day and we will become dazzling geniuses of our era.

Dexter proclaimed with great confidence

I hope so. Max said, glancing towards the town.

A mysterious smile spread across his face.

I heard rumors that the town would be taking in geniuses from the outskirts in a week's time

Ooh, haven't heard of anything like that.

Dexter said while squinting his eyes

Really, is it the truth.

Zariel shookef max greatly.

As he was held by blaze.

He finally managed to calm himself down

Sigh! Don't worry zarriel, we will find the medicine to treat aunt.

Max said, Dexter nod his head in acknowledgement

So I guess we should prepare ourselves for the upcoming event.

We after all wouldn't want to lose this great opportunity.

Dexter said.

"Alright, I will get going then."

Dexter said, leaving the two alone.

Just as mysterious as ever.

Zariel murmurred

Dexter smiled.

As the two turned back and made way for their humble abode.

As they walked away, the friends whom they left behind began murmuring.

"He thinks he's a superstar because he can control Zephyxr magic" 

"More like Zephyxr butt" they all began to laugh after hearing these words.

Dexter turned and saw them laughing while walking away, but he continued walking as that was none of his business.

The truth he refused to tell zariel was that no medicine would be able to treat his aunt.

Only a fully realized Zephyxr elemental controller can harness the power of prolonging one life, but Dexter was far from that. He was not even a Zephyxr elemental controller thoughtless of a fully realized Zephyxr elemental controller. 

He knew that it was impossible but he planned to make the impossible possible.

"Zariel, why don't you go and stay with aunty till I'm back" he said standing by a shade in the market.

"Ok, but be sure to come back soon" zariel replied as he turned to walk away leaving Dexter in the shade.

Dexter made his way towards the Spirit Academy, it was a place where Zephyxr elemental controller are trained.

On getting there, he went towards the registration area and sat among the people who where also there to register.

When it was time for him to register, the weird looking man said.

"Dexter, isn't this the 10th time you're applying this year?" 

"Yes" Dexter replied as he chuckled softly

"I don't mean to hurt your feelings but without a guardian, you won't be able to gain an admission"

"I know, but I'll still apply"

He applied yet again, and walked out waiting for the unpleasing reply.

Whilst walking through the alley, the sun began to fade slowly, to show how gone the day was. 

He heard some noise that seemed like that of his friends and ran to check.

On getting there he stood by the side making himself to be seen by no one. 

He saw a man in black clothes, his face was pitch black. He was giving them money and for some unknown reason he felt something was not right.

He wanted to Walk away but he stepped his leg on a dried stick which made a sound.

He wanted to run but in a blink of an eye, the dark man caught up to him, he was using Zephyxr magic, he was a Zephyxr elemental controller no doubt about it.

Before he could know what was happening, his hands were both tied behind his back and his body was tied on a large tree.

"Go and do as I ask, no one is there to stop you" the black man said.

And his friends began to rush towards the direction of his house.

"Isn't that your friends you risked your life for yesterday, trying to get them out of the volcano? Well, now you'll regret saving them" the black man said

"What do you mean? Why would I regret?" 

Dexter ask looking confused

"Your aunty, you fool….. she's going to die" 

Hearing these words, he forced himself through the rope and began running towards his abode.

Fortunately, the black man did not stop him. He began running furiously towards his house and on getting there, he saw the door wide open.

He began to shout at his brother name "zariel!! zariel!!" But all he got was a bird chipping from above. He managed to walk inside the house and he saw his Aunty lying lifelessly on the ground, with blood all over her body. He walked further and also saw his brother lying lifelessly on the ground. He began sobbing, calling out their names he kept on crying.

He heard footsteps coming from his back.

Before he could turn to see who it was.

BAM! he received a heart whelming blow, making him to fall on his side. Before he knew it his eyes became blurry and the weight of his body began to overwhelm him. Without any further notice, he said.

"So this is death?"
