In an open valley in the middle of a dense forest, a young man was standing with his eyes closed. The young man was handsome, with jade skin and red hair. His height was around 1.75 to 1.80 m, and he was wearing a black colored cloak all over his body.
Every now and then, his expression trembled slightly as if he felt something. Her eyelids were also moving wildly, as if she was trying to feel her surroundings without even opening her eyes.
Suddenly… "Woosh!"
A strange creature less than forty centimeters jumped towards him. The creature looked like a cat, but had claws even bigger than a tiger's claws, and red eyes. Its claws still emitted a cold glow as it quickly approached the young man's neck.
However, just as he thought he would succeed with his ambush, the young man opened his eyes, and moved!
"Swoosh!"
A blue glow appeared in the young man's hands, before passing quickly, cutting the creature in half. The blood exploded, and a strange voice sounded inside the young man's mind.
[Long-clawed cat, Primitive blood creature slain. Primal Beast Soul wins. Eat your meat to earn 0-10 points randomly.]
After the strange voice was silenced, a silver glow suddenly flew towards the young man's chest, before a three-bladed scythe formed in his hand.

Leng Yun looked at the notifications that appeared in front of him, before he let out a helpless sigh.
This was already the third day he'd been here looking to find a long-clawed cat of mutated blood; but even so, there was not even a glimpse of such a creature.
However, he was not unhappy about it; just a little disappointed. Still, getting a primitive blood creature wasn't all that bad, as he could now complete one of his stats.
After calming down, and putting his thoughts back together, Leng Yun picked up the long-clawed cat and took him to a cave not far away.
It had been a while since he had returned to the shelter, as he was trying to hunt more creatures to become stronger.
So he had already found a cave on the side of a large mountain to temporarily live in while he was here. The cave was large, over a mile long and dark. Leng Yun tried to explore in the past, but he couldn't as there was a repulsive force preventing him from getting any closer.
However, at the end of the cave where he could no longer walk, there was a box of some strange Bronze colored material that radiated a golden glow from time to time. Leng Yun didn't know what was supposed to be inside it, but he knew it was nothing ordinary.
This was also one of the reasons he was here. He didn't want other people to find out about it, and take the treasure with them.
Walking slowly, Leng Yun soon spotted the cave. Entering, Leng Yun placed the cat in a corner before lighting the fire to prepare the meat.
It didn't take long, and Leng Yun not only lit the fire without too much trouble, but also cleaned the cat's flesh before cutting it into small slices and putting them to roast. The delicious smell soon permeated the cave, making Leng Yun salivate.
When the meat started to turn almost browned, Leng Yun took a slice before shoving it fully into his mouth in a single bite. The red groove of the meat soon melted in her mouth, bringing out a delicious, aromatic taste. Her stomach was also growling at this point, as if enjoying the taste.
After the first piece came the second, third, fourth, etc...
Before Leng Yun knew it, all the flesh in the fire had already disappeared. All that was left was the constant notifications popping up in his line of sight.
[Long-clawed cat eaten, a primitive point has been earned!]

Nine notifications popped up in her mind, indicating that her primitive points had finally been complete. This immediately caused an excited smile to form on Leng Yun's lips. Knowing he was getting stronger was a relief to him.
He didn't want to be treated like people who weren't as 'talented' for it. That's why he chose to get stronger, and be the person who looked down on others, rather than the other way around.
Leng Yun was a young man who had no family in the outside world outside the shrine, so the shrine was his true home. It was the only place that made him feel a little of what people call 'warm feelings'.
The only days he would go to the outside world was when he needed to know the news after a long time, or when he was looking for some of the ancient martial arts to learn.
For some reason, he was very talented in any martial art he ever practiced while he was young. This gave him a huge advantage after entering the shrine. His mind processed things faster than usual, and he was also very calm even in desperate situations. With that, using his intelligence, and martial arts learned when he was younger, it was not difficult for him to raise his strength much faster than his peers.
Even though the common beasts were very strong, they were beasts at best! There was no intelligence, so dealing with something like that wasn't too much of a problem for Leng Yun.
With that, it was easy for him to get the common geno points, and increase his strength considerably to fight against the primitive creatures.
Following in this same footsteps, Leng Yun was now looking for news about the mutated creatures before chasing the Holy Blood creatures. With each new geno point on his body, he felt his strength increasing by the same amount, and that was quite addictive for him.
Without lingering any longer, Leng Yun washed off his sweat in a nearby lake before going to sleep.
The next day, Leng Yun continued killing the primal blood creatures even though he no longer needed them. His goal was to find a mutated creature, but it wasn't as simple as he initially thought.
All the primeval flesh and souls he got were also set aside for sale. Even if they weren't very valuable, it was still something of great value to the people who had just arrived at the shrine. These people were willing to pay a high price to gain the advantage of their peers, and that was even better with the soul of a powerful or rare beast.
