[Status: Completed /02/14/24] Synopsis: When Monarki found herself tied inside a dark castle dungeon, she merely thought that it was all just a product of her dream. 'How many days has it been?' Mona asked herself as she glanced outside the only window in that tiny room. She recalled how many times the sky turned dark and bright. Four times? Six?
Her mind was like jelly, wobbly and opaque, vague and useless. How did it become like this? Even the constant pain she felt from her burns felt nothing, as though her body had become completely numb.
The mind really works wonders. Like fragile and delicate glass, a mere mishap or a single crack can already bring indescribable damage. Or was it simply because her mental power was so weak?
With all those revelations, like a dry leaf falling from a rotting branch, her body had lost energy, and her eyes lost vigor. A dry and decaying leaf that could do nothing but fall slowly, swayed by the wind, and wearily glided past the branches, waiting for someone to hear its cry as it landed above the ground, among the many victims of fall.
