UA Entrance Exam (Practical Exam)

The moment the starting signal came was the moment Akane used her soru to get away from her location. The next moment she was aware off again was the moment where she already destroyed one level three robot, two level two and three level one robots, already having gained a total of ten points.

Of course, she was destroying robots in places nobody saw. She didn't want to gain the attention of others, thinking that she was easy prey and that they could kill steal her.

They deserved to fail, but not through doing a 'landing in recovery girls' tent' speedrun. No, they should fail because of their own total inability and not because of funny, I broke your arm in self-defense.

After a while of beating up robots she noticed one thing. The idiot group that wanted to take advantage of her was already in unrest. How unprofessional.

While she was destroying another robot, she noticed how that group could get cornered. She wanted to facepalm herself in that moment.

She joined the middle and annihilated the robots. She made short process with them.

"Are you guys all retarded or just incompetent? Other than me, you all idiots have quirks! You all have superpowers! So how in the name of the nine heals could you all let yourself get cornered by some robots! I mean come on, you are three people, surely you can do better than this?"

And with that she disappeared again, running with top speed to gain as much points as possible.

Her current total 'villain' points were 69.

Izuku nervously stood in his assigned area. He was nervous, very nervous. But he slowly calmed down as he remembered the words Akane said to him right before entering the UA entrance.

"Hey, I observed you a bit."

Well, as always, that part always put him a bit off, but he was used to it. Akane meant it kindly, just as he meant it kindly with his notebooks of other heroes.

"Let me give you a bit of advice. Have more confidence in yourself. I am sure that you are more than capable of passing the UA Entrance Exam."

Remembering these words, Izuku clenched his fists in determination. These words were enough to give him confidence, after all someone believed in him and he didn't want to betray that trust.

Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulders...

"WOAH!"

It was the boy from before that scolded him from out of nowhere. Izuku was surprised that he apparently was here to talk with him.

"About that thing before. You know in the auditorium. I wanted to apologize for that."

"Huh?"

It was obvious that he was even more surprised now that the boy was suddenly apologizing to him.

"Why so suddenly, I don't remember anything that would have warranted an apology?"

"What? I mean I kind if called you immature, while I myself am still immature too. I mean isn't an apology necessary at this point?"

Both of them stared each other's in the eye for a moment. After a moment Izuku started to chuckle.

"Well, what did you expect? We all are still just a bunch of kids if you think about it. UA is still just another school if you think about it, yes, it's prestigious, but it's still just school. It's a place where students like us should develop and learn to be a member of society."

Tenya didn't expect such a mature response from the boy that was so giddy all the time just now. He also chuckled, he still had much to learn.

"Iida Tenya, pleasant to make your acquaintance. Let's hope that you will even pass the entrance exam for your big words."

Izuku was a bit taken aback with that reaction, but he had confidence in himself.

"Midoriya Izuku, don't worry. I will pass this test and join class 1-A!"

The both of them exchanged gazes before the signal to start finally came.

"AAAAND START!"

And with vigor he followed the crowd, ready to destroy some robots.

Suddenly a one-point robot busted out from the wall.

But Izuku just gave it a flying dropkick. Sadly, that attack didn't quite finish it off, so he had sent a flurry of punches right after the dropkick.

He remembered the words of advice yesterday evening Akane gave him through voice chat.

"Izuku, for now you should use One for All only for the strictest of emergencies. You still don't have control over that power and your body isn't really capable of coping it's true power."

He was a bit depressed hearing this, why did he do all this when he still isn't allowed to use that power?

"Aww, are you moping? Don't worry, with my training you should be able to take on three pointers. So, don't rely all too much on One for All and show that we can be awesome even without quirks!"

But once again he remembered that he shouldn't complain. After all he knew someone that had it more difficult than him yet refuses to bow down. Yes, he decided to follow Akanes lead, she was one of two people that believed him after all.

He knew that she would have his back.

"Ha - Ha. Damn only 16 points and I am already this tired? How can I pass with that pace?"

"Only six minutes left."

He started to watch how fast the other were. The girl that he met this morning had 28 points and Tenya had 45 points. He won't pass no matter what with this pace, this is bad.

The teachers were sitting in the control room, observing the students through the drones all around the field.

Majeta was proud of this accomplishment. She was able to make a partnership contract with UA to replace the far outdated camera equipment with up to date drones from her company. She would have been proud if she knew that the entire teacher body was watching the site through her companies drones.

She basically already had that inheritance competition in her bag. Why did they still compete?

Back to the main topic. The teachers were observing the field through the drones and evaluated the newcomers that came to UA.

"Well, the batch this year also shows a lot of potential. Don't you all think so too?"

"Well, a strict time limit and a vast battleground. Of course, it's going to uncover the skills of these kids."

A teacher in a sleeping bag said.

"Insight, agility, judgement and of course sheer fighting prowess is uncovered by this practical exam."

"Yes, an exceptional observation All Might. But we can't be sure about the quality of the batch this year yet. The thing that really is going to test their mettle is this. Hisho, press the button!"

"Of course, headmaster Nezu."

And with one push of the button the zero pointer was released.

"That's how you draw out their honest selves."

He chuckled silently.

"I wonder how 'she' will deal with it."

The zero pointer was released, and the entire student body was terrified. All of them ran away as fast as possible.

Even Izuku himself wanted to run away, until he heard someone ask for help. He turned around and saw the girl he met this morning under a bit of debris.

Seeing this his brain shut off and he walked towards that walking hunk of technology. He didn't hesitate to jump up to save that girl.

He clenched his body and started to activate One for All. He won't hesitate to save someone.

With all his power he was about to punch, putting all his power in his punch, destroying the giant robot.

Well, that was something that happened in another timeline. A timeline where Akane didn't exist.

Before he punched out, he hesitated for a split second, remembering Akanes words. It was as if she was right beside him.

"Idiot. Is this the idea of an emergency for you?"

Before he could scream something, Akane sealed his mouth shut. She glared at him, but quickly took position beside him, ready for a punch. He knew what she wanted.

And so, the two of them punched out. Pushing the giant robot, a decent distance back. Surprisingly Izukus arm didn't broke.

Akane grabbed him and landed with him on a piece of metal that was detached from the robot.

"Wondering why your arm isn't broke? Well, I pushed a couple of pressure points, relieving your arm from a bit of tension. Well, your arm is still dislocated and a bit damaged though. I wouldn't push it if I were you."

After her sentence they were about to land on the ground, but the girl caught their 'vehicle' with a bit of debris that she used her quirk on.

"Nice save!"

Akane gave the girl the boy.

"Take Izuku to the infirmary. That idiot needs his arm checked. Meanwhile I'll deal with that big honker."

And with that she left the both of them alone. They were a bit dumbfounded.

"What's your name?"

"Huh, oh right! I am Midoriya Izuku, and you!"

"Huh? Oh! I am Uraraka Ochaco, nice to meet you."

They were a bit awkward with the situation, but after a while Izuku could hear a silent whisper.

"Thank you for saving me."

Izuku blushed a bit hearing this.

Meanwhile by Akane.

"One-minute left!"

She was currently sitting on top of the robot, softly tapping on it.

"Well, that should work."

She punched it softly, creating a little shockwave that went through the metal.

"I don't have much time!"

And so, she used the ability that her rainbow eyes gave her. All of a sudden it seemed like the world was slowing down for her.

She concentrated, trying to track the rhythm of the shockwave. She was trying to get the frequency of the metal that the robot was made off. She punched again, trying to follow the sound that the metal gave her.

And with a bit of effort she found the frequency out.

"SEI!"

She started to punch the robot, faster and faster in a certain rhythm, trying to replicate a certain phenomenon. A phenomenon that is the reason why you can shatter a wine class with your voice and why it's illegal to cross a bridge marching in step.

The resonance disaster.

"SEI! SEI! SEI! SEI! SEI!"

She hit the robot again and again in the frequency of the material it's made off.

"SEI! With this hit you shall stop function!"

And one last time she hit the robot, making it cease function. You could basically hear the sound of it shutting off with the last punch. Everyone was surprised by that, but they forgot one thing.

That thing was broken! How the hell should it continue standing upright with all that mass and so it slowly started to fall down and everybody that was in range of its body was horrified.

Or that was supposed to happen, but Akane carried each student that was still not out of range of it to safety.

"Phew, if I didn't break some records just now with that, then I don't know what will."

And so, the practical exam of UA ended.

Meanwhile in the control room:

Chaos broke through with the unexpected destruction of the zero pointer.

The only one calm in this room were Nezu and his secretary. Nezu drank a bit tea, before returning it to the tea plate.

"Hisho."

"Akane destroyed a couple of additional robots with that last crash. Additionally, she just saved a bunch of stupid kids that watched her in awe (and mockery) as she trashed the robot. I would say that she just gained a lot of villain and hero points."

"Excellent, but..."

"Yes, she broke the records for total villain points, total hero points and total points by a landslide. Namely 295 and 360, totaling 655. Not only did she reach the triple digits, but she also reached beyond the halfway point to the four digits. She..."

"...more than necessary overshot the needed goals. Sigh, yes the girl deserves her special 21 seat in class 1-A. Hisho, deal with the needed documents."

She just glared at him.

"Hai, hai. I know, I should do my own job and not push everything to you, but I need a little breather to think."

She nodded, going out of the room to prepare the documents.

Nezu smiled thinking about the results. He caught a new interesting disciple to shape, didn't he?
