Shiny Tropics Shorts

Hello, welcome to Shiny Shorts!

Here you will find a brief description of the different stories we'll be posting, as well as a general rundown of the rules surrounding requesting stories.

Firstly, we will be posting fics that are canon! These things actually happened in the universe Shiny Tropics is set in, although nothing concerning major spoilers or backstories will be written here. These are more stories that are referenced in the story and comics, but are never elaborated on.

These will also include fics that focus on a particular idol and their minds. Do you like angst? Great! These shorts will focus on detailing the angst behind the character and show their more vulnerable sides. These are the closest to backstory spoilers these fics will ever get, although nothing is ever explicitly stated.

Not to worry, there will also be lots of fluff! These stories also include side characters, so if your favourite character is the kind student council president Hana or the rich uncle Cyril, you'll get plenty of content too! Whether it's angst, fluff or crack, we'll aim to expand on every character in the series at least once in these stories!

Another thing to note is that some of these will be our takes on how the character's will act in different scenarios! This will include ideas such as "what if Fran never moved to Ishigaki?" all the way to "What if the Shiny cast was in the world of Genshin Impact?" All fics like this will have a disclaimer at the start letting you know that it's non-canon!

So, what about suggesting? We want to create stories our readers will enjoy, especially since will at times be the only content being released as we work hard on releasing new songs and comics for you. Thats why we'll be leaving suggestions open indefinitely!! Do you have a scenario you want to see? What about a character or two you really want to see more of? Please let us know by commenting on this chapter! If we do decide to use your idea, we will leave your username at the beginning of the chapter letting people know who came up with the idea!

Updates will be hopefully bi-weekly, so make sure to look out for new chapters!
