Ch.2 Lessons

<p>I began to show the class what to do. Talking in a very loud voice so the people in the back could hear. I taught them how to make three different types of soap. With in two hours we had about 350 bottles of soap done. That was the most we had ever produced in such a short time. Soon the instructor walked back in.<br/><br/>"Thank you Izayia. You may return to your station." he said in his signature tone.<br/><br/>I bowed before him and walked back to my station. <br/><br/>"As for the rest of you," he paused to build tension. "Great work, I am proud. You are finally proving yourselves to be worthy of working under my supervision."<br/><br/>I looked around at the class slight smiles grew on thier faces. Except for the new kid. Who stood there like he didn't know what he was doing. <br/><br/>"Continue. I will be back in four hours to dismiss you." the instructor said leaving the room.<br/> <br/>After he left the room filled with the usual sound of small chatter among stations. I looked up at the new kid, he still looked as if he didn't understand what he was doing. After about five minutes I decided to walk over and see if he needed help. <br/><br/>"Do you need some help?" I asked walking up to him.<br/><br/>"No." he said in a snobbish tone while fiddling with the ingredients. <br/><br/>"Are you sure?" <br/><br/>"Yes!" he snapped back. <br/><br/>"Okay." I said backing up slowly.<br/><br/>"I am sorry. I hate it here." he said looking down. <br/><br/>"Don't be. I don't like it here either." <br/><br/>"Yeah, your Izayia right?" he asked me.<br/><br/>"Correct, and you are?" <br/><br/>"Zennith." he responded. <br/><br/>"Nice to meet you Zennith." <br/><br/>For the remainder of the 8 hours I helped him with his soaps. I looked at the clock on the wall. 12:28 PM. It was almost time to be dismissed. I walked back over to my assigned spot and stood there for the remaining two minutes before our break. The instructor walked in and the class went silent.<br/>"Are we all ready?" he asked us. <br/><br/>"Yes sir!!" the class yelled back. <br/><br/>"Huh? ARE WE READY I ASKED!" he screamed at us. <br/><br/>"YES SIR!!" we yelled back. <br/><br/>"Dismissed!" he yelled.<br/><br/>We walked out through the door and headed back to our family's for our 30 minute break. I saw Zennith out of the corner of my eye and walked over to him. <br/><br/>"Hey!" I said smiling.<br/><br/>He didn't say anything.<br/><br/>"Nice." I said in a flat tone. <br/><br/>"Thank you for your help today." he said suddenly. <br/><br/>I looked at him astonished. "Yes. No problem. Do you know what your next task is?" <br/><br/>"I can't read." he said looking down at his card.<br/><br/>"What really!?" I said shocked. "Let me see." <br/><br/>I looked at his card, this is what it said: Zennith V. laundry soap and wood saw FC2<br/><br/>"You and I have the same task next!" I said excited. <br/><br/>"Really? What is it?" he asked.<br/><br/>"Wood saw." <br/><br/>"Oh." <br/><br/>We walked in silence for a bit. <br/><br/>"So how old are you?" I asked him.<br/><br/>"I am 8, you?"<br/><br/>"Nice, I am the same age." <br/><br/>"Yeah."<br/><br/>"Where does your family live?" <br/><br/>"I don't have one." <br/><br/>"What? Really! I am so sorry!" <br/><br/>"That is what everyone says."<br/><br/>"You can come live with me if you want to." <br/><br/>"I mean sure but would your family allow it?" <br/><br/>"Yes! I am sure my mom would love you."<br/><br/>"Ok." <br/><br/>"Follow me!" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him along.<br/><br/>Soon we made it to the alley...</p>
