The usual adventurous life of Kazuma, doing quest, get drunk, having fun with his party members, and goes on. One day when he accepted the high difficulty quest, it takes an unexpected turns, he get himself killed 'again' from that quest. When he thought that he can meet the goddess Eris, he found himself drowning at the bottom of the sea rather than the usual dark room with the goddess. He meets a traveler and a mascot (?) and that is the beginning of their adventure in Tevyat, The world that ruled by the 7 Archon. --------------------------------------- This is the first time I write a story and fanfiction. I just writing this fanfic for fun. The characters are not mine and owned by the respectful owner, Kadokawa and Mihoyo. I don't own the cover, I just edit the 2 image into one, credit to the fanart artist. If you found some mistake in my grammar, I'm sorry, English isn't my first language, it was like my 3rd or 4th language.
The usual day in the Town of Beginning, Axel. After did some business with Wiz's store, I planned to go home and take a nap. On the way home I meet my party members, Aqua, Megumin and Darkness.
"What's up guys, are you going out somewhere?" I said.
"No, we are going to adventurer guild, and we planned to find you on Wiz's store." said Darkness.
"The guild want us to come there." said Megumin with a heavy sigh.
That's quite rare for the guild to summon us like this, maybe something urgent happened.
"Uh, okay. By the way, what the heck with Aqua?"
"Ah, she pass out after slipping on the wet floor in the living room and then she hit her head at the side of table." my condolences, for the table.
"...... Just the usual then."
After some little chit-chat we proceed to the adventurer guild, Luna the receptionist called us right after we went to the hall.
"Ah, Kazuma party, please come here."
We went to the receptionist table after she called us, then she gave us the sheet of paper that looks like the quest paper at the hall.
"Because there are lack of high ranked party, our guild need your participation in this quest, the difficulty level is quite high and need more than 5 party to clear this quest."
A raid huh, well I don't mind that. I take a look at the quest that Luna-san put down in front of me, the content of the quest is like this :

Clear out the elemental golem in the mine area. Recommended party with paladin and archpriest class. 5 high ranked party or more is needed for this quest.

"Neat, by the way, how many party that are ready to go?"
"Uhmmm, only your party are avilable in this town right now, and this is urgent because the mine is the biggest source of income for this city, and the elemental golems suddenly appeared there 2 days ago."
"Eh? Wait wait wait, only us? S rank quest? Seriously?!"
"Why are you chickening out for, Kazuma? Aren't we used to the high rank quest more dangerous than this, no?" said Aqua who when in the flying cabbage woke up with a big bump on her head, poor table.
"Well yeah, but actually no. That was a peril situation and some of them took my life several times!" I shout in my anger because of this smug loose mouthed self proclaimed goddess.
"Ummm, you can invite the other available adventurer if you want." said Luna with a pale face, is she okay?
Wiz isn't in her store, only Vanir tend the bussines there, Yunyun on a quest for a week, Chris isn't here either, only the newbie adventurer is available here, what a great luck huh!
"Why not just take it Kazuma? Doesn't that mean we get the reward 8 times more than the normal rewards?" said Aqua with a baselees confidence.
"It's 5" said Luna with a trembling body, are you really okay Luna-san?
"8 or we refus-" "Deal!" as Aqua tried to negotiate but suddenly Luna intercept her and make the deal.
"Oi, I haven't agree with this quest ye-" "A party has been confirmed for this quest! Good Luck!" She ran off from the raceptionist table, is that really Luna-san?
"*sigh~, Let's go, Kazuma. It seems we can't refuse this quest because it's from the mayor of this city and the kingdom." Said Darkness with her finger pointed at the bottom of the quest sheet, damn it, that handwriting is so small that I didn't noticed it.
"It can't be helped, let's go guys."
Several hours later, we preparing ourselves in front of the mine area, it's an open field and not the underground kind of mine, at least Megumin can blast off her magic here.
I stand on the mine watchtower to find the golem, where is it?

This mine area is really big huh, around 8 times the size of a football field, I guess.
Ah, I found it. It camouflage itself as a big chunk of raw ore and stones. Usually golem have an earth, wood, iron, or stone based bodies, the elemental one usually imbued from the massive magic stone and took the magic power from the nature or dragon veins.
This fella element is, thunder huh, this is gonna be really pain in the ass. The big problem is, It can absorb the magic from the living being too, Darkness would be fine because of her high vitality, Megumin is in a favourable position because her explotion can counter the electro element of that golem and if their element attack collide, her explotion become more powerfull. As for Aqua.... she is really has a shitty luck as ever, water and electro? Nope.
"Darkness draws it's attention, Megumin prepare your spell after I make a pitfall to entrap the golem, Aqua pay attention to keep healing Darkness and take Megumin after she cast her spell, I will lure the golem to my trap, Darkness, is 4 minutes enough for you to handle the golem?"
"I think it's enough, I alredy upgraded my armor to resist some magic attack"
"As expected from the rich lady. Let's go guys!"
"Don't call me rich la-""I'm ready!""" Darkness retort blocked by the other member.
Darkness and me dashed toward the electro golem, the golem agitated from Darkness' taunt and I preparing the large pitfall enough to burry the golem. This is really take some time.
As I dug out the soil with my basic earth magic, I saw Aqua healing Darkness several times with a panicked face, huh? That's weird, something is wrong with Aqua's expression.
"What's wrong Aqua?" I shouted at her, we are quite far away from each other.
"I-I don't know! I feels like my divine power are scraped off!" said Aqua with a pale face.
Is it because of that golem? D-don't tell me!
"Megumin! Is there any kind of item to lower the light magic power?!"
"There is, if I'm not wrong, it is called demon magic stone, it can block any kind of intermediate skills like heal from priest and archpriest."
Holy shot, that's really dangerous! It mean the core of that golem is that demon magic stone. Darkness really in a peril state right now! Screw it! I can only made the half depth of trap from my intended plan.
"Megumin! Ready to cast your spell as I bait the golem to the pitfall! Aqua! Back off to Megumin's location! Snap out of it!" I shouted like my life depend on it, Aqua tears up and ran toward Megumin.
"Darkness! Prepare to back off! I will take care of it!"
"Ugh, understood, and be careful, it's hand movement is really fast."
"Alright! [Create Stone]! [Snipe]!"
As I shot the stone towards the golem, it stopped the attack and rotate it's body then ran toward me.
So fast! Oi this is not the kind of golem that I know! I lure it to my trap and I spammed [Snipe] and [Create Stone] toward it.
Good, it's not burried in the pitfall but it tripped it's leg from the pitfall.
"Megumin, now!"
"-dance~ dance~ to the abbys. Explooooosion!"
Right before I tried to flee from the explosion, something like a cable entangled my foot, and pull me towards the explosion.

What a day full of misfortune is this? Ah, my consciousness, it seems I'm going to meet Eris-sama again in the limbo.
