Self fulfillment

As I lay here bleeding out I think to myself ‘oh how I have wasted my life, if only I had another chance’ I smirk as I realize how much of a pipe dream that desire of mine is. -Ting!- A smirk appears on my face as I look up at the sky. ‘a shooting star, huh, well I might as well make a wish’ I feel my consciousness fading, my life leaking out of me… ‘I wish this wasn’t the end…. I want to live….’ *Your wish has been granted* *time remaining- 1 year* *consuming fate fragments!* *0 fragments remaining* I suddenly felt my consciousness returning to me, my body healing, returning to its peak. “Wow, how in hell did that work. How am I even alive?!?! Thank the stars, holy shit!!” As I was was feeling ecstatic over my new found survival I realized that my troubles were not over. “What in the ever living fuck is that?!” A ‘hole’ in reality seemed to have spontaneously materialized in front of me, reality seeming to warp around it.
