Scarlet Spider

Someone wise once said 'Hell is other people...' As Michael Osborne opened his eyes he thought of that particular quote.

'Well, whoever said that has my utmost respect because I have never agreed with anything more than I have agreed with this quote.' An irritated Michael said in his mind.

Pater Parker, my best friend since 7th grade along with Gwen, sighed as he bent down in his seat and pulled a paper airplane from his shirt.

"I have to say, their dedication to annoy us is admirable." I said as I pulled out a airplane from my ear. "They are wasting a lot of paper from their notebooks simply to annoy us."

"Welcome to the club, you should have expected this after you dislocated Flash's shoulder" said Peter while smirking at me.

"What? You couldn't have expected me to do nothing while Flash was harassing uhh.. Felicia was it?"

"Yeah but still was Mr Osborn pissed?" asked peter. "I ..guess, I mean he had to pay for Flash's treatment and now he is giving me the classic silent treatment, not that he wasn't always giving me a silent treatment so not many changes there."

"By the way, I am almost finished with our elecromagnetic reactor if I can just figure out how to convert mangnetic field into electricity then I should be able to create a stable water down version of the arc reactor!" Peter said exitedly.

"Noice" I smirked as I punched his shoulder lightly. "Seriously dude, you should be in college already instead of hanging with us feeble minded peasants."

"Please, like you are any dumber than me you came up with the idea and contributed 50% in this project and besides it's not like Aunt May will allow me to attend college anyway" replied Peter sighing.

Aunt May and late Uncle Ben wanted Peter to enjoy the life of a normal teenager instead of having him go a college and not live his childhood to its fullest.

"That sucks, having to tolerate these idiots in the class well besides Gwen" I sighed as I put my head down on the desk. "Oh yeah, are you coming to Harry's stupid party tonight" I asked Peter.

"I can't, I am busy tonight" replied Peter while nervously scratching his neck. "You're busy quite a lot these days, you are almost always late to the class and you show up with these bruises sometimes, seriously dude what's up with you these days?" I asked Peter suspiciously while he chuckled awkwardly.

I sighed "Anyways, that's a bummer I was hoping to crash in your place so that I can avoid going to that stupid party."

The bell suddenly rang and student ran frantically outside the gate. I sighed again "Idiots.... anyway Adios, Peter" I said and also went outside. Unbeknownst to me a platinum blonde beauty was carefully watching me leave.

Outside the school gates our butler Bernard Houseman was waiting to pick me and Harry up on a limo, Harry and his 'friends' walked past me laughing while talking about something probably idiotic got in the limo and Bernard asked me "Are you coming along, Master Michael?"

"No, I have something to do so I unfortunately can't." I told Bernard and one of Harry's friend said "Oh! Come on Mikey, you are so boring learn to enjoy yourself a little." While Harry replied "Okay, see you later bro." And then drove away with his apparent friends.

I sighed, mine and Harry's relationship is .... complicated to say the least. We are so different from each other both in physical appearance and personality wise. While he has dad's red hair and grey eyes I have our mom's black hair and blue eyes, something my dad hates me for because I remind him of his late wife who died due to terminal illness.

After this I went to an abandoned building that I always go to relax and get away from all my family's madness. I sat on the roof and took in the view of my surroundings. As I sat there I saw Spider-man swinging around. 'Must be nice' I thought while watching him. I sat there for a few hours until I heard a crackling sound from besides me and then I saw it.

A spider who seemed to have torn a hole in space was approaching me while glitching.

It was a sight hard to explain but it looked like the spider was being born and dying at the same time. I was startled to see the spider and froze.

The spider jumped on my hand and then onto my shoulder and bit my neck

"SHIT!!" I shouted, smacking the spider away. "Uhh.. It seems that the first hickey I got was from what appears to be a interdimesional spider." I whispered painfully while clutching my neck.

When I looked at the spider again it had disintegrated into dust. 'Not weird at all.'

I was starting to get dizzy so I quickly ran back to mine and Harry's rather fancy penthouse. As I got there and opened the penthouse's gate I saw a bunch of people from our school there.

'Right, Harry's stupid party I forgot that its tonight' I thought frustated. As I was going to my room through the crowd Gwen came to me and asked worriedly "Mike, are you okay you look a little pale?"

"Yeah just a little nauseous, where's Harry?"

I replied and looked around searching for Harry, He was with his friends drinking vodka. I sighed expartely "Of course he is drinking vodka in a room full of teenager."

"Gwen, I am sorry to ruin your party but please do me a favor and watch these... things, make sure they don't break or steal something. I would've done it but as you can see I am not in the best of the conditions to do that." I pleaded to Gwen.

"Its alright, why don't you go take a rest. I will make sure nothing happens." Gwen said while smiling at me. "Thank you so much Gwen, you're a lifesaver."

"Hey, don't worry that's what friends are for." Replied Gwen patting my back.

"Hehe, thanks anyway." I said and then went to my room. After entering the room I saw a couple who were in the middle of making out while trying to take each other's clothes off.

'Just what I needed' after sighing for the millionth time I knocked on the door rather harshly.

Those two were started to see me. "Please get the fuck out of my room, I am way too tired to deal with the likes of you." I told the couple who hurriedly ran out of the room.

I closed the door and approached the bed then plopped down on it finally getting my well deserved rest.

"We finally meet, child."
