Hayden couldn't tell how he had done it, but somehow, he had been able to get out of harm's way. He was sure that he hadn't been the one that made that move, even though he could see the obvious shock on the faces of the men that had been standing close to the Alpha's bed.

"What's going on here?" Hayden let out with a Loyd voice, as he hurriedly numbered ten men in the Alpha's room. Though they were dressed like guards they didn't look anything like the faces he saw around the fortress. "Who are you all?"

"They are here to kill the alpha…" the creature replied, his question. "You can thank me later for saving your life after you kill the alpha."

"But why would I do that? Whose plan is this in the first place?" Hayden's confusion was just too much, to the point where he had been unable to move.
