I, Hyeong Shin, am an assassin of the lowest rank.

From carrying out small assassination to assassinating world leaders, There was nothing that I couldn't do.

The year 2100, Earth was at the verge of extinction, common people were exploited by the rich.

They had established a hierarchy system.

A new currency accepted worldwide had emerged in the year 2040, The ones who with no value, were thrown away, the whole world was in chaos.

Even if I was in the lowest rank, I never failed in any high ranking missions, but the higher ups never promoted me.

As the greatest assassin, Hyeong Shin, I carried out the extermination of the Russian opposition parties.

Born in Seoul, Korea, I was an orphan, My parents had been killed in an accident.

I was raised by the underworld, trained to be a killer from the age of 7. I used the alias of "John" to not reveal my identity in any of the assassination I committed.

Through hellish training, I graduated with a score of SS rank in the scoreboard, I was the highest ranked among the others, The others, who had powers backing them up, such as nobility and power to control the underworld, I was just a nobody.

I had barely gotten through a small crack to join the academy.

It's the year 2100, I never once thought about betraying the organisation.

Backstabbing your comrades was a common thing during this time period, as people were hungry for more power.

Man is greedy, no matter how much he has, he still needs more.

That is exactly what happened to me.

I had never killed a comrade, I was a man with a belief that I have no enemies, not to the fact that I was kind and forgiving.

It was because no one could match me.

Now I live in this old run down house with a grocery store next to it that I manage.

It was the new year, I was managing the store as usual, when 5 men in formals walked into the store.

"Welcome sir! What would you like to buy?" I said, I bowed down as the basic greeting in Korea, but that man had committed an outrageous crime.

The bastard slapped me with all of his strength, that had sent me flying to the other end of the store.

"Sir, This is something I cannot forgive, Do you want me to call the cops!?"

"Stop running, John."

I hadn't heard that name in years, no decades..

That lighted a spark in me, I asked the man who he was, but he never replied.

"I'm now a old man, What use would you have to kill me?"

"I have my reasons." The man wearing black sunglasses lifted his right hand, As soon as he lifted his arm, The 4 other men beside him came running straight at me.

I knew they were criminals, I have spent my entire life shedding blood, no way I wouldn't recognise the smell of blood no matter how much you wipe it.

"Old man! The 5 billion will be ours!!" Said the 4 men as they unleashed a combination attack, One going in with a sweep kick and one with a hook to my liver.

The other one appeared right behind me and smashed my head with his fists.

I thought it was the end of me, I resisted but that didn't help at all..

The lingering pain in me from the bullet of my recent assassination was still in me.

It was a one sided fight, I was helpless, that is when I decided it would be better to escape.

I pushed away all 4 men and tried to escape through the back door but was shot in my back 10 times...

It was an unbearable pain, I wanted to scream, but who would help an old assassin.

"Boys, Tell the others to retrieve the body, let us go."

I closed my eyes, my memories flashed in an instant, and that was how I died.

Minutes after, I woke up, The pain had disappeared, the pain of the bullets had gone away, I looked at my bloody hands, but there was nothing to be found, unlike my old hands with a lot of wrinkles, My hand seemed just like it was the hand of a man in his 20s.

I stood up, "Wait, Why do I feel taller than usual..?" I asked myself, but who knew such miracles existed, even if it did, I would have been the first one to recieve this blessing.

"My face.. I can't feel the old wrinkly face, and my hair... It's black again!"

I quickly rushed to check it out in the mirror that was at my house.

"Oh shit where's the key!"

The door looked like it was locked, but with a just a little push, it opened.

My strength had also been repaired to its former glory.

I rushed to the mirror, It was just as I expected, I regained my youth once again.

"No one knows who I am, I'm the greatest now!!"

"But first, those idiots, let me take care of them first."

Soon the ones who were supposed to retrieve my body, had arrived, but it wasn't about to be over with just that.

"An assassin can use any and everything as a weapon!"

Due to my grocery store also containing some basic stationary objects, It was a given that I had a pen.

I picked up the fountain pen, filled up it's cartridge and ran straight ahead to kill those guys.

"I, John, shall repay the organisation for what they did to me!"
