As someone who lost her parents at an early age, Rain had been through plenty of hardships. But when her school bus crashes and she wakes up in an unfamiliar world all alone, she is faced with dangers unlike anything she has faced before. [guys did I do good? does this sound cool and professional?]
I clamber up the steps of the school bus, carefully picking my way through my seated classmates. I look up as something whizzes by my head and hear teasing and laughing from behind me. Without looking behind me, I flip them off before continuing to carefully maneuver around outstretched legs and arms, until I'm almost at the back of the bus.
I relax and step forward just to trip on someone's leg and fall forward. I hear a bunch of loud giggles and look up to see my classmates Liv and Aurora, smirking at me. "What's wrong Rain? Did you trip? Awww, the poor little baby tripped~" I hear Liv say, as I brush myself off and get up.
I glare at her and move to smack her before abruptly stopping. "Go ahead~ hit me! I dare you!" Liv says as her and Aurora sneer. I grit my teeth and push past them, sitting at the back of the bus. I couldn't afford to start another fight. The teacher had explained very clearly that this was my last chance. I would get suspended if I fought again.
The two move to continue taunting me but are interrupted by our teacher, Mr Wilson. "Alright everyone. Settle down. I need to take roll call and distribute the sack lunches. Go back to your assigned seats." Most kids ignore him and he begins shouting at us. I settle down into my seat and look out the window as he continues to attempt to get the students where they're supposed to be.
They finally settle down and the bus startes moving, trundling down familiar streets until we get to the highway. I look though the window as the world streaks by, ignoring everyone else. I enjoy the ride and stretch out. Everyone was supposed to sit two to a seat as we're combined with another class, but obviously no one would want to sit by me.
A loud yell grabs my attention and I look up just as the bus smashes into something else, throwing me against the wall as a cacophony of screams flood the bus.The bus begins traveling down the mountain side on its roof as the bus flips over.
I attempt to grab onto something, anything, but I can't get ahold of anything. I panic as we smash into a tree, throwing me out of my seat as I smack my head hard on the window. Pain streaks through my head and my vision gets blurry as hot bloods drips down my forehead. We smash into something else and it all goes dark.

I wake up groaning and blink my eyes in the bright light streaking through the forests canopy. My thoughts are muddled and confused. [Where...am I? This doesn't look like my room..] I lay on the ground and continue blinking sleepily for a few more seconds, until my memory suddenly returns. I sit up abruptly and wince as my head throbs. Once the pain dies down I open my eyes and look around. I seem to be in an ancient forest, with giant trees shooting up as far as I can see. There doesn't seem to be
Any remnants of the bus or the crash.
It seems like a normal forest, albeit not one I've ever seen before. The trees look hundreds of years old, and there are brightly colored plants that I don't recognize. Suddenly I sense movement and look to my left only to see a giant frog hopping towards me quickly. "Ackk!" I let out a noise before scrambling away from it. I love frogs, but not ones that are as large as a cat.
I look closer at it and see moss covering its back, with small mushrooms growing on top. [This is for you bridge] "What the fuck..?" I mumble, as the frog continues to hop closer. It stops right in front of me and seems to be waiting for something. I examine it closely, but I don't have a clue what it wants from me. It seems to get impatient as it croaks at me loudly. It moves its head towards my head and begins rubbing up against it like a cat. "Pets? Is that what you want?" I ask curiously. It's a fucking frog so obviously it doesn't respond, but I take that as a yes. I carefully rub its head and it nuzzles up against me. "Awww..your just wanting some attention, is that it?" I say. I suddenly hear a loud ding as an old looking scroll appears right in front of my face. I curse loudly and back away as the frog gets startled and quickly hops away. "What..is that?"
