I was reincarnated as the second son of Fugaku Uchiha and I have to live with the weight of not being able to save my clan. I saw my brother Sasuke cry, I saw my brother Itachi murder the one he loved and I saw the village our clan always defended betray us.
Many people think that reincarnating is wonderful, but that's not quite how it works.
You may wonder how I know this.
The answer is on my side.
"Hey Sasuke, have you made any friends at school?" I asked my younger brother, who was walking beside me to the gym.
"No, they don't try to talk to me," he replied with a sad face.
Being an Uchiha is no joke, even children have a hatred of our clan.
So to clarify, I was reincarnated in the Naruto universe, in the famous Uchiha family.
I'm the second son of the clan leader, my name is Uchiha Mitami.
My older brother is the famous Uchiha Itachi and the moment when he is going to murder our entire clan seems to be very close.
I've noticed the tense atmosphere between him and our father at dinner.
Our mother still tries to keep the family together, but not very effectively.
I've never really understood Itachi, ever since I was born as an Uchiha I've seen the clan as my family and I would have thought of other ways to resolve the conflicts with the village.
In my opinion, he was just manipulated by the Hokage and his jealous supporter Danzo.
"We've arrived Sasuke, wait for me when class is over" I say to him as we stand in front of the village ninja academy.
I wasn't born like Itachi being a clan genius, my talent is much inferior to his, but still considered good compared to the other children in the village.
My only advantage would be the translucent blue screen that floats in front of me without anyone noticing.
When I was reincarnated I was given something many people call a system. A tool to help me grow into a strong ninja, but my system has some limitations.
It's called the Card Gathering System. And it does just that, it generates cards of individuals' abilities and collects them to make me stronger. The downside is that it only collects cards from ninjas who have just met their death and I haven't had many opportunities to get cards for this reason.
But I did manage to get a bit stronger.

Those were my stats at the time and from what I've validated I'm almost at peak power for a Genin, almost reaching the rank of Low Chunin.
However, obviously I'm still a long way from having enough power to stop Itachi and the massacre he's going to wreak on the clan.
But the way I see it, Itachi has always been a good brother to Sasuke and me, so if everything goes as expected, he should keep us both alive.
And this will be a great opportunity for my system to show its true capabilities.
The teacher was giving a lecture in front of the class about the will of fire and things like that to brainwash children.
No one very important is in my class, just some ordinary Hyuugas, some other Uchihas without Sharingan, some from the Aburame clan, two students from the Inuzuka clan and other civilian students.
If all went well, in two more peaceful years I would have my graduation.
But as I know that tranquillity from afar is not what awaits me, I continue to live day by day.
The sound of the gym bell signaling the end of classes is what wakes me from my thoughts. I get up and head for the exit, followed by many envious glances behind my back.
"Hi Sasuke," I say, seeing my precious, cute brother, who in the future will be driven only by revenge.
I really don't know what I'm going to do in the future, staying in the village isn't something I want for myself. This place literally has a conspiracy around every corner.
"What is it, brother?" Sasuke asks me.
"Nothing, just thinking! Let's hurry so we don't worry Mom," I tell him, holding his hand as we walk home.
"I hope Itachi's home to teach me how to throw shurikens," he smiles, looking forward to seeing our brother.
"Yes, yes," I agreed with him, but seeing Itachi was very strange for me. Even though I know he loves us, his cold eyes sometimes send shivers down my back.
Shisui, on the other hand, is a nice guy, but he was very naive and believed in the peace that the Hokage preaches.
Sometimes I think even the Hokage doesn't believe what he says.
"Don't you want me to teach you, Sasuke?" I ask him.
Sasuke makes a very thoughtful face before answering. "Itachi is better than you, brother.
His answer made my heart ache, but he wasn't wrong anyway.
"Of course he is, he's the oldest! But soon I'll be just as good," I said, not even believing my own words. But I'm an Uchiha, I have to be proud, it's in my blood.
"Maybe?" he replies as if he doesn't believe me.
I laughed as we pulled up in front of the Uchiha Complex.
Another day that I'm alive and another day closer to tragedy. Living with this burden is my sin.
