Making a Mistake

Abel checked the sword out with a satisfied look on his face. 'Ah, this sword is not bad. İt is barely worthy of my awesomeness'

Nami who was rowing the boat let out a sigh as she watched her teacher checking himself out with a hand mirror in various poses with Aranruth(his new sword). She didn't need to read mind to understand he was boasting to himself. She took a deep breath and asked again.

'' Teacher... do you really wish to go to my hometown?'' She asked once again. Nami already warned Abel about how dangerous it would be but Abel was still calm. Nami was scared that her teacher didn't understand how dangerous it would be in a while.

'Well, I don't want to go actually...' His expression was opposite though as a warm smile appeared on his face.

'' Of course. '' Hesitating right now would not be anything good. Since Abel decided to help out he would not back out before seeing Arlong's stats. İf his stats were really high... Then he would back out immediately while kidnaping Nami. A few hours later, they arrived at Cocoyashi Village. Abel took a deep breath, prayed for good fortune and then...

Abel shook himself from useless thoughts and then took his masks out. Abel had 2 different masks. One of them was pitch black and had a noble aura, this was the mask he used as undercover marine Ghost. His other mask was blood red and had devilish designs on it. Everyone would understand it was not used for something good at first glance. This blood red mask was the one he used to beat Helmeppo up in Shell Town. Abel hesitated for a while and choose the black mask as he decided to pose as Ghost again. Ghost already had some reputation after beating Kuro up so he decided to boost his reputation more if he decided to fight Arlong. Maybe that reputation would come handy some day.

'' Wait here, I will check things out.'' ' İf his stats are high I am kidnapping you and Nojiko out of here.'

Nami hesitated but didn't say anything. Abel left towards the village while sneaking around. Abel couldn't manage to spot Arlong but he spotted a random fishman.

'F*ck, this is just a random fishman!? This random fishman's stats are already so close to me. Arlong's stats are definitely higher than me.' Abel's face was dark as he considered the situation. Of course, stats were not everything. Abel knew that his superior skills would bridge that gap by a lot. Even then, Abel only had around %55 confidence at beating Arlong. 'Even if I beat him, I will be injured as well.'

Abel frowned and thought for a few minutes. ' Forget it, I am kidnapping Nami and Nojiko out of here. I will take revenge for villagers later if they want' With that Abel turned around and started to leave. He only took 3 steps before he froze.

'' Ohh, look Nami came back.''

'' Hahaha, welcome crewmate.''

Various fishman started greeting Nami with mocking voices. Abel's gaze turned cold as he prepared to make a move to kidnap Nami. Nami came towards him before he could make a move and hugged him. Everyone was stunned as they just realised there was someone close by with a mask on spying on them. Nami didn't care as she tiptoed and reached Abel's ears and whispered.

''Teacher... I understand your intentions. I... I can't leave this villagers to their fate. You should leave. I will not be coming with you. Thanks for everything.''

'Ding! Relationship updated with Nami(Major character). Current relationship +90(extremely grateful)'

Abel's heart shook as he heard his disciple. His eyes froze as he spoke coldly.

'' Will you be disobedient untill the end?''

Nami gave him a sad smile as she stuck her tongue out.

'' Well, I am just like that. We were togather for only a few days yet I caused you so much trouble. I hope you won't resent me, teacher.'' Nami said while choking in tears.

'Not again. She made her choice. I already did my best, it won't do any good if I fight to death. This is her choice, I am not responsible for it anymore, right?.' Abel was extremely shaken. He tried to clear his mind with logic. Otherwise he knew what was going to happen next. Just as Abel was trying to clear his mind a voice came over.

'' Shahahaha. Nami, you came back. Who is this masked person you brought back. Oh... A black mask, white long hair, a tall and muscular body. I think I know who you are.'' Abel turned around to see Arlong who had an amused look on his face.

Nami was frozen with terror as her whole body started shaking fully.

'' Shahahaha. Nami did you think bringing a marine here would help you? So what if he beat Kuro? All humans are ants, he is just a slightly larger ant.''

'Just because he thinks I am human, our relationship is already -50. Sigh, his racism is really powerful.'

As Arlong was arrogantly speaking Abel didn't waste time.

He frowned and decided immediately. ' I should sign in with Nami and leave. This was her choice, there is nothing I can do. +90 is already very good.' Abel turned around to leave using vanishing step but Arlong was not done speaking yet.

'' Shehahaha, you are leaving Ghost? Well, take care on your way out. By the way Nami, your actions of bringing a marine here greatly displeased me. I think I will vent my anger on your sister today. But... you can prevent this. Kneel down and confirm that you are my slave in front of everyone. And then maybe I will let your sister of, how about it?'' Arlong looked at the trembling Nami with satisfaction as he waited for her response.
