With every rewrite comes a new introduction, and this rewrite isn't an exception. In this introduction, I want to say some things to make sure there isn't any confusion for new and old readers. There are also some changes in the plot because parts in the original story didn't make sense.
This is the second rewrite, well, not a rewrite, as I will use my original work as a basis for this one. So, I guess you could call it a remastering of the original work to improve upon the writing and story.
In this remastering, the story will be different from the original. I've changed things to make more sense; I also improved the main character's motivation; he shouldn't be moving towards an aimless point now.
Story-wise, there will be a lot of minor changes, but the bigger picture will still be comparable to what it was before. I also changed the look of the writing; I removed the system because, well, in my head, it's lazy writing and an info dump, so I've gone towards a more realistic view. The way I wrote dialogue has also been changed; the old readers will know the difference.
This novel is mainly written in British English, so there will be slight grammatical and spelling differences from the more used American English. There are also some name changes; old readers will probably only notice these, so I won't point them out.
Other novels were inspired by my original work, and decided that they also wanted to make a story in my world. So, if you have the time, I recommend searching this novel's tag and giving their books a read. Some have been dropped but are still worth the read.
Sadly, this is a thing I always have to say on this page. I'm open to feedback, so if you have feedback, please send your feedback! But don't send me things like "What a stupid novel" be constructive. Tell me what you disliked and how you would change it. Then I know what I could change, and you can helpfully give your opinion.
I'm writing this as a hobby; I'm not a professional, and I do not get paid for writing this; I'm writing because I enjoy doing it and for some self-promotion. This novel will not be the new Dune or Harry potter, so please don't expect something grandiose.
If you want to leave behind a review, go ahead, but be constructive; tell me what you didn't like and how I could change it so I can do something about it. Reviews that are only there to slander my novel without being constructive will be removed.
