Chapter 23

With a big leap both Choi Kwan and Jeong Ji-ho dashed towards the demon with their swords raised

"Hah! Is this my weakness?" The demon sneered and his nails grew longer as black bat like wings srouted from his back

The fight was intense without a single space to break and breath

Seeing their fight unfold the knights were surprised as they thought 'Are they really just students?'

Choi Kwan's ability which is called "Infinity Power" is an ability that gives the user immense and unlimited force and power that could be used without taking a single break!

This is why Choi Kwan grew stronger and stronger until he was unrivaled

Jeong Ji-ho on the other hand has the ability called "Dragon flames" which allows him to use the flames used by the legendary mythological creature Dragon

But even that is nothing compared to Choi Kwan

Just as Jeong Ji-ho was growing tired I suddenly shouted "Use your ability Jeong Ji-ho!"

Giving my permission Jeong Ji-ho nodded and backed away before he took a deep breath and suddenly his sword along with his entire body started to emit golden flames as his eyes turned bright red

"That-!" The knights were surprised as they thought 'That is not an ordinary flame but a flame of a dragon!'

As smokes came out of the corner of Jeong Ji-ho's mouth he took a deep breath before--

He dashed towards the demon who was busy fighting Choi Kwan and before the demon could even move his right arm was cut off by Jeong Ji-ho!

"Arghh!"

Screaming in pain the demon backed away but Choi Kwan and Jeong Ji-ho did not give him any chance to escape as they started attacking again

This time Choi Kwan was able to slash his chest but was shallow

'Damn it!' Choi Kwan cussed internally as he started attacking again

Seeing everyone stunned I grinned before I said "What the hell are you just doing just standing still? Fire your arrows marksman and mage and support please support the two of them"

"The knights and other swordsman protect me and Gon Won-shik, tank watch out for any surprise attack and make sure to block it"

Hearing my command everyone shouted "Yes sir!"

Satisfied I smiled and watched everything with my arms crossed

The demon kept being hit and wounded by everyone and before we knew it he raged and roared so loud that we almost became deaf!

My ears bleed and Chay Mi Kyong immediately healed it

I thanked her before I frowned and watched as the demon suddenly transformed and turned into a black ugly looking demon but even so was horrifying that it made us shuddered

As the air turned suffocating they felt something, and that is--

Fear

I also felt the fear and almost fainted but luckily the system was there and supported me using an item from the system shop

The knights who had faced a demon before knew that this is the true form of the demon which would be stronger than the last one!

Although they have seen how strong Choi Kwan and Jeong Ji-ho is they know that they wouldn't be able to stand against this one

The demon looked at us with bloodshot eyes and roared

The female knight said "Instructor, I think we should retreat--"

"Why retreat?" I said and everyone turned to look at me

Standing up staggeringly I said with a smile "Didn't I told you? With me by your side you will not die, what's more, do you think the demons would let us go that easily?"

Hearing this the knight couldn't refute but still said stubbornly "But we will die if we don't do anything! You don't know but we do just how strong this demon is when it's in their true form!"

Smiling I walked towards them and patted their shoulder as I said "That's why I'll be taking care of it"

"All you guys just have to do is to take care of my body when I fainted"

Hearing this Choi Kwan and the others suddenly remembered what happened in the last dungeon and immediately run towards me as they grabbed my wrist and said "No! What if you don't wake up this time?!"

Hearing this I became silent

Just as Choi Kwan heaved a sigh of relief and was about to persuade me to do another plan I smiled and spoke as I said "Then I die, that's just how it is"

"What?!"

With a weak smile I said "I swore that I would get you guys out of here alive, so it's fine if I die"

"What are you saying? Don't do this! Hyung!"

Alas even though they tried to stop me I already made up my mind, I know the risks and consequences but still, I don't want them to die

In the original novel they never faced the demon in this dungeon and they faced the demon when they were much more stronger in the middle part of the story

That's why I know the risk of them dying if they fight the demon now

And that's why--

Raising my hand everything suddenly turned into a slow motion and as they tried to stop me I snapped my fingers and with a flick time stopped

Turning around I slowly walked towards the demon

This time I didn't coughed out blood because my status grew immensely thanks to the Barak artifact

I said "System, give me the holy sword"

Without hesitation I chose 'yes' and this time as the glowing sword appeared in my hand I coughed out a mouthful of blood and suddenly a crack appeared on my cheek

Widening my eyes I was surprised and narrowed them as I thought with a weak smile 'Maybe…I will die this time'

I still stubbornly walked towards the demon and spoke as I said "System"

More cracks appeared on my face and I said "Please somehow send this message for me to Choi Kwan and the others"

"Is it possible?"

Smiling I said "Then say 'This time we were able to stop the demon from collecting information and breaking to our school thanks to you guys, but, that will not be the end of it. More demons will rose from the underworld and cause war among us but I believe that with the teachings I thought you guys you will be able to stop them.

Choi Kwan and Jeong Ji-ho, please do not hate each other and continue your rivalry, do you think I don't know that behind my backs you two fight each other? Pfft- no chance. But I still believe tat you two will become the strongest

Geum Beok-seo and Lee Mi-Nyeo, please stop fighting you guys or else you two might became a couple in the future

Ahn Ju-won and Cha Si-woo please continue to support each other

Bin Seo-Jun continue to enhance your skill and magic

Chay Mi Kyong and Bae Chul continue supporting your friends

Finally I reached the demon but with the price of my whole body already on the verge of breaking apart

Piercing the chest of the demon with the holy sword he started to glow as his body breaks

As all of this happened everything started to move in normal and Choi Kwan and the others saw me with the demon, with me piercing it's chest and, with me, breaking apart

With a last smile I smiled at them as my face fell apart and I mouthed "Goodbye and thank you everyone"

Widening their eyes Choi Kwan and Jeong Ji-ho screamed simultaneously

"Hyuunngggggggggggg!"

Sshhhhh

After a white bright light engulfed everything they saw that the demon along with my body disappeared without a single trace left

"Kim Han-wool-ssi…"

Falling to his knees Choi Kwan punched the floor as he screamed

Everyone else also screamed or cried

Only the knights were left speechless, they even doubted me at first but, now I sacrificed myself for their sake

And I'm gone now….

10 years later the war between demons and humans are finally settled with the victory on the humans side

Litting a cigarrette Jeong Ji-ho stared outside the balcony of the academy

He was now much more taller and well built as his fiery red hair shine when the sunlight hits it

His scarlet red eyes became even more cold and dangerous

All of it was exactly the same as the description of the novel when he turned into a great villain, except that--

"Oi! Jeong Ji-ho-ssi!"

Choi Kwan called out and even Choi Kwan grew up as the exactly opposite of Jeong Ji-ho

While Jeong Ji-ho has a cold and fiery aura Choi Kwan has a warm and cheery aura

Jeong Ji-ho snorted and continued to smoke

Choi Kwan stood beside him and looked at the open field aswell

They them saw students fighting each other which resembled their rivalry as one of the students said "Choi Kwan-nim is better!" and the other said "No! Jeong Ji-ho-nim is better!"

Hearing this Choi Kwan laughed and said "Ah, they are just like us aren't they?"

Jeong Ji-ho was silent for a long time before he said "Yeah"

They then remembered the mysterious note that was said to come from me that appaeared in their cabinets

They've read that they should not fight each other and so they followed

They can't believe that they would be changed this much just because of a single person

Just as they were enjoying the view they were suddenly stunned and raised their swords as a black portal appeared behind them

Just as they squinted their eyes to look closely at what's inside they were suddenly bewildered as they said "This is-!"

Floating in an endless familiar darkness I sighed and thought 'So I died huh?'

[Correct]

Just as I was pondering on what would happen to me now I suddenly heard something that was unexpected

[Would the host like to resurrect in the Helios World?]

[Yes/No]

Hearing this I said "You mean Choi Kwan's world again?"

[Yes but this time you will be resurrected in a parallel world as the one you were in before]

I asked "You mean in a world where I wasn't a teacher?" or maybe where I'm already dead

Thinking of that I shuddered and felt cold all over me

Frowning I asked "Then what is my task?"

"But I thought I would disappear as well as you when I die?" I asked suspiciously
