Reborn as a Sect Leader

I had worked decades as a waiter in a small restaurant in Yahnshu, a small city near the coast. I had been very diligent, never slacking off and always on time.

When that happened.

Let's go back in time, and return to what happened. Memories flashed by and I could hardly remember anything.

Tuesday, the sixth of September. It was a warm day and many tourists were going around sightseeing. Some of course also sat down and ate something, for example in the restaurant I worked in.

They all wore different clothes, blue light jackets, thin dresses, shorts and other things people wear in a temperature of 36 degrees.

I held my little plate, glasses filled with juices on it, and slowly walked over to one of the tables, when I wanted to return to the bar, I could see a little girl about seven or eight years old crossing the street. She wore a headset, probably listening to music or other stuff.

That wasn't the thing that worried me, or even scared me, because when I looked a little further, I could see a huge truck coming closer and closer. The old driver wasn't even looking at the street infront, but in his small phone.

Many scenarios went through my head, and I decided something I wouldn't regret doing after.

I threw my plate away and started running towards the girl, hearing the shattering of the glass in my ears. I ran and ran, the truck also came closer and closer. Now! I jumped to the girl, pushing her to the other side, making her not be in danger anymore. And me?

I closed my eyes, ready to accept whatever would come after death. Was there an afterlife? Did God really exist. This was the first time I really thought about it. Would I go to heaven? Well I couldn't change anything anymore so it didn't matter.

Then I heard something, it wasn't a very beautiful voice or anything, but a noise that sounded like a robot.

Not only did I hear this robotic voice, when I opened my eyes again, I could clearly see a blue screen appearing in front my me. Only that I wasn't myself anymore.

I looked around and found things I could hardly describe. I was sitting on a wooden throne, in a huge hall built like the Chinese style, there were six other chairs on both sides of mine. Not as grand as my throne, but still quite exquisite.

On each of this chairs, an old man was sitting, wearing a black and white robe. All of them were releasing a majestic aura.

As I looked further around, I could see some younger boys and girls kneeling down, their heads lifted, looking at me.

"Sect Leader!" They shouted in union,

"The Fire Stone Sect has sent us a declaration of war, and said they would come in exactly one week, to take over our sect and land."

"How dare they!" One of the old men couldn't help but shout angry. "A hundred years ago, they were still like a little brother and now, that our sect has become weaker, they dare to lift their head?!"

"Calm down third elder." Another old men replied in a calm voice and turned his head straight to me.

"Let's first listen to what our Sect Leader has to say."

Me? My body was frozen and I couldn't move. What should I do? I don't know anything about this place.

Then the same screen as before appeared again and the same voice said something inside my head.

[ Host! As you have been successfully transmigrated, you will now receive the memories of this body. ]

Wha-? Scenes were playing in my head, about people who could split mountains and fly on swords.

These people were named Cultivators, and were divided into different stages. The first three resembled the cultivation of their body, making them able to collect spiritual energy and change it into their strength.

Body Tempering, Foundation Establishment, Foundation Cultivation,

After these came Connate, Innate and Nascent, resembling the Change of their Soul and Spirit.

The people in the realms were already strong powerhouses in the world of cultivation. In many kingdoms and nations, Innate was already the peak and best they could become. After these three came another three stages, Congenital, Sovereign and Ancestral. They were the end of cultivation or so many said, as there was something only left behind by legends.

As many of these powerhouses came together they founded great nations or created sects, to teach and give the next generation their knowledge.

The person I transmigrated into was also called Qin Yi and he had become the Sect Leader of the Holy Tiger Sect, when his father disappeared a year ago.

With his seventeen years of living and cultivating for six years, he had reached the first stage of Connate. That was already quite a remarkable talent, when suddenly a man covered in a black robe appeared and made him unable to cultivate.

His cultivation had regressed from than on to the 7th Stage of Foundation Cultivation, making him weaker then the elders, and so some of these elders tried to take over control of the sect. Of course it hadn't been done already, but the faction of the great elder grew more and more, many of the elders had become the trusted servants of the great elder, only the third and fourth elder still remained on his side, as a sign of gratitude for his father.

The Fire Stone Sect had been a small sect submitted to the Holy Tiger Sect, this body ruled, only after the his father disappeared, did they slowly dare to attack and fight against us in the dark. The leader of their sect was a 4th Stage Connate, and even the great elder of the Holy Tiger Sect was only a 2nd Stage Connate, making it almost impossible to fight against.

As I regained consciousness and control over my body the old man asked again in a notorious tone, making him sound as if I was a joke.

"What should we do? Sect Leader!"
