"What", Suddenly, Aldrich stepped outside the portal and looked around, to notice that Rose's chest had been pierced through the dagger, which was in the hands of Derik. Derik looked at him with a menacing smile,

"Hey Friend", before kicking Rose away.

"YOU", he instantly took out his twin swords, as the fuzzy feeling he had since a few days cleared out. 

"You cast a mind spell on me, manipulating my memories", he glared at Derik.

"Arent you a quick one", Derik laughed, slowly walking towards Aldrich. "If not for the stupid interference, you would have been the one to die. But the stupid spirit that protects that girl", he looked at Rose, and the cane that was lying next to her, broken. "it isn't affected by the interference like normal creatures, and tried to protect you from me", he laughed.

Aldrich looked to his side, noticing the bloody figure of Rose , and her shattered cane.
