Chapter 48. Third Match: Preliminary

For the final match, U.A. High's teacher "Cementoss" used materials and his Quirk to create a ring in the center of the sports field. The main referee, Midnight, explained the rules clearly:

"The rules are simple. You win by knocking your opponent out of the ring, making them unable to move, or getting them to say 'I give up.'"

"Don't be afraid of getting hurt. Our 'Recovery Girl' is on the sidelines, so go all out!"

"But using moves that could endanger your opponent's life will be considered a serious foul, and you'll be disqualified immediately! A true hero only acts to capture the enemy!"

With the rules explained clearly by Midnight, the participants listened carefully. They were the ones going up next.

Though Shinso Hitoshi was still weak compared to Midoriya Izuku, who had been training his body for years, Shinso had been diligently learning Bajiquan for over six months. As Ojiro, the dojo master, said:
