I should really stop doing this, I thought as I crouched in Margaret's narrow closet. The heavy coats, saturated with a heady mix of musk and varnished wood, tickled my nostrils to the point of nausea. Ah, Margaret Calloway, a Karen like no other. Nothing was ever good enough for her, especially not her husband. Despite her prominent nose that might put some off, she had undeniable assets: wide hips, a big ass, and firm breasts. For the peace of my neighborhood, it was my "duty" to sacrifice myself for the greater good by fucking her in every possible position until she soaked her bed. Justice had been served.

But I suspected that, aside from the thrill of an extramarital affair, one of her goals was to get pregnant as quickly as possible. That smelled strongly of a biological clock ticking... How would she explain to her husband the arrival of a child darker-skinned than expected? That, of course, was none of my concern.

Seduction wasn't complicated. She was taking Latin dance lessons at the school where I had enrolled four years ago. Jeff Calloway, perpetually tormented by his wife. Their arguments had become so predictable that they were boring. As usual, Jeff ended up falling silent, exhausted. His wife chased him into the garden—the perfect moment for me to slip away unnoticed.

Just as I was about to discreetly exit the closet, something strange occurred. My heart raced, my senses fogged. A shiver ran down my spine. Shadows danced before my eyes; whistling sounds filled the air. Then, a bright portal suddenly opened at the back of the closet.

The dazzling light blinded me. Without a sound, I was sucked into a vortex of colors.

I awoke on the warm sands of an unknown beach. The scenery had drastically changed. As I stood up, I realized I was no longer at Margaret's place. A salty breeze caressed my face, adding to my confusion. Not far off, a bustling port came into view.

"Ayo…" I murmured, trying to grasp reality, despite the fine sand beneath my feet and the salty scent of the sea. I began to walk along the beach, searching for clues.

As I walked, I noticed creatures I only knew from distant dreams. A group of Krabby skittered near the water, their pincers clacking loudly. Farther off, a Pidgey perched on a rock. It was clear, I was in another world.

To my right, a huge port unveiled itself. The cries of Wingulls resonated, adding to my bewilderment. Colorful posters on the cabins caught my eye. One of them advertised training camps by a certain Lieutenant Surge for unruly children. "Lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place, my belt does," the poster enthusiastically proclaimed.

I stared at the ad for a moment, incredulous. "What the actual fuck…" I muttered, frowning.

A jovial fisherman, sun-tanned and wearing a worn cap, walked by me. He sported a wide smile filled with teeth yellowed by tobacco and years. Noticing my bewildered expression, he burst into hearty laughter—an earnest, resonant laugh that echoed around.

"Ah, you're new here, huh?" he said, adjusting his cap. "Little Surge was quite a character when he was a kid, I can guarantee you that. A real little devil!Always up to no good and making everyone see all colors. But look at him now, with his big mouth and training camps. Life sure knocked some sense into him!"

He nodded nostalgically, eyes squinting with memories. "Yeah, little Surge was quite the rascal back then. But it made him a tough guy, no doubt about that."

He continued muttering incomprehensible stories about kids these days, complaining about how they no longer respected their elders, before disappearing among the colorful cabins.

I watched him go, trying to absorb the information. Gradually, reality set in. "Vermilion City," I whispered, looking around to make sure all this wasn't just some crazy dream. With Krabby scuttling around, Pidgey perched, and noisy Wingulls, there was no more doubt.

I took my time, seizing this unexpected break to observe the life around me. Vermilion City's port was bustling, every corner brimming with activities and fascinating Pokémon.

I sat on a nearby bench, facing the shimmering water where Tentacool floated gracefully. Nearby, Carvanha weaved in groups, creating a wild aquatic choreography. Further away, a couple of Wailmers joyfully splashed around, drawing amused glances from passersby.

My attention was then caught by Machop and Machoke busy on the docks. Their impressive strength was used to unload heavy crates from the ships. The sailors shouted directives, sometimes applauding their muscled companions for their efficiency.

A mix of excitement and perplexity washed over me. How did I end up here? Questions swirled in my mind, but I tried to enjoy the moment.

Suddenly, my gaze fixed on a large ferry docked not far away. The sound of waves lapping against the hull and the sailors' cries gave a special ambiance to this maritime tableau. Intrigued, I got up and began to walk slowly towards the main quay.

My steps were light, allowing my thoughts to wander. As I approached the ferry, I felt that strange energy once more. My heart raced, a delicate shiver traced my spine. Before I could grasp what was happening, the blinding light resurfaced, enveloping and sucking me into a luminous vortex.

In a blinding flash, I found myself in a totally different setting. The sumptuous suite where I landed gleamed with luxury. The jacuzzi shimmered under the chandelier lights, and a Jynx lounging near the window flipped through a fashion magazine. In the jacuzzi, a young woman with long, wavy hair floating around her stared at me, her eyes wide with surprise.
