New and old Friends

After driving for an hour, we finally made it to the hotel that we will stay in for the night.

"I'll grab everything that I can. Could you grab the rest?"

"Sure thing, madam!"

Sarah was a healthy young girl that showed her athletic potential equal to what many people could only wish to have at such a young age. Even if the crazy amount of things she was carrying were heavy, she carried them like she was taking a tall stack of papers somewhere.

"The room is 45b on the fourth floor, I just need to grab the cards and I will be there, okay?"

"Sure thing, Oliver!"

She was walking to the room, the queen was about to talk to an important person.

The queen walked over to her bed in her sleeping clothes as she made a call to someone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I haven't gotten a call from you in years now what's up?"

"I need you to come back as soon as you can, okay?"

"Why is that? You know the front lines need my help."

"yes but this time it has to deal with both sides of the family."

"What do you mean?"

"Audrey Esperanza is pregnant!"

"Oh, it's that time again. I still remember when both of your great grandparents were born."

"Just How Old Are You? You don't seem to be that old to me."

"That's a secret nobody knows… She would know if she were still here…"

"Who's she?"

"Someone from a long time ago. They're not around anymore though."

"You sound like an old man."

"I'm not though! There is a big difference in being around a long time and being old."

"What kind of difference would that be?"

"The old become frail and weak while those who been around a long time can gain more knowledge and strength."

"Sure, whatever."

"For a queen, you are sure rude."

"Not like I need to be proper around someone who's been around longer than the Hyeme Igni Empire and is also a very close member."

"What kind of excuse is that!"

"I'm kinda tired. I'll give a better one another time."

"There is no excuse to be talking so rude to me!"

"Alright! can you please come over uncle!"

"Jeez, I am not even your uncle!"

"Better than calling you ancestor san, right?"

"Tsh! I guess. Fine, it'll take about twenty years for me to get there though."

"That's too long!"

"Don't you know I am over twenty-five light-years away!"

"At least make it 15!"

"I'll be exhausted for the next two years when I finally get there!"

"That's fine at least you'll be here!"

*Sigh…*

"Fine, but you're going to owe me a lot when I get there!"

"I'll definitely will."

"you know I don't mean that…"

"Well, I'll feel bad if I didn't make it up to you."

"Maybe you can just wait another five years?"

"Nope, that's too long! Your perception of time is getting wonky, you know!"

"No, it hasn't In fact I have a much better grasp on it than you ever could! But I've grown patient despite the painstakingly long years."

"Alright then, I'll see you then. Even if I'll be 60 years old by then."

"You're thirty-five, so it'll be 50 years. Although I am glad I got to see you as a child though."

"Alright, I'll call you another time when I am not so tired."

"Alright bye."

*Click!*

"jeez, 15 years is too long, Justin."

Justin's perspective

"Truth be told, I can be there in just a year, but I have a lot of things to investigate at the moment. If the reappearance of the giant race is really in the hands of the Tokage-Ju, then humanity will definitely be in trouble."

Sarah's perspective

*knock-Knock-Knock!*

"It's time to get up even if it's only 7 am we need you to get a tan before you go."

"Ugh! fine."

Sarah's body was sluggish and refused to get up after such a stressful event occurring yesterday.

"Give me five minutes and I'll be there."

"Alright, I'll be waiting in the lobby!"

"Alright!"

'Today's the day I'll be living a partially normal life, huh?'

Sarah went to her bag and got out the clothes she got and put them on.

"I love how much easier these clothes are to put on!"

With that, she got her stuff all ready to leave and went to the lobby.

*ding*

There was Oliver standing right there at the elevator door waiting for me.

"Alright Oliver, I am ready to go."

"Kay."

We walked out of the lobby after I gave my card to the front desk and headed towards the car.

"Do you think I'll be okay?"

"well you will have to be balancing between your harsh education and romance, so it'll definitely be rough for you. Plus, it's only the summer."

"Don't joke like that!"

"Well, it's true. You got four years to find a boyfriend."

"Please, that's enough of that, I didn't even get to see the campus."

"I didn't mean to overwhelm you, sorry."

"Oh, so you know we will walk there and give me that cap."

"Fine."

There Sarah was with her haircut and change of clothes were enough alone to make her seem like another person, but now she is going to tan her skin before going to the academy.

"We only need to be out here for a few hours, huh?"

"Yes afterwards, you could go to the beach or where ever to get everything else tanned."

"How embarrassing."

"What's that?"

"Nothing."

After a few hours of walking around, she now had a tan that made look like someone else entirely.

"This should be more than enough right?"

"Yep, you look like someone else entirely."

Said Oliver as he gave a thumb up to her.

The two walked to the parking lot that held their car and went to the academy.

"I can't wait!"

"Oh, yeah?"

"This will be the first time I get to see people outside the fortress my age."

"That must be exciting, ain't it?"

"Yep, although I am nervous."

"Yeah, that's understandable."

Once they arrived the academy was massive with a black frame and golden tinted windows.

"This place is massive!"

"yes, it is. There are over 300,000 students that attend here."

"Why are there so many?"

"well, they thought it would be the most efficient way to have the main education center be in a single place. There are two sister locations, though. This way the students can either explore the other cities or come to this one to experience the sceneries."

"That's wonderful!"

"Alright, we need to get some final paperwork done that requires your signature."

"Okay!"

They entered through the building and went to their right to talk to someone behind the counter.

"We are here to see the principal, to finish some final paperwork."

"Interesting the Principal never does this… Okay then I'll let him know and we'll get you sent to him right away."

Sarah and Oliver were waiting until the man at the counter said something.

"Alright, he's waiting for you to now. Just head to the elevator to the top floor."

"Thank you."

"no problem, have a good day."

Sarah and Oliver walked down the hallway and into the elevator.

"Look there's only one button."

"There's an entire elevator for one man."

Sarah hopped up and swiftly pushed the button to the elevator.

"I can't believe this has 65 floors on it!"

"I am amazed by the number of floors too."

They patiently waited for the fast but long ride up the elevator.

*Ding!*

"Hello! I was expecting you two!"

The man had a smooth voice that enticed you to his words while his clothes looked to be a Hyeme Igni's General clothing. The clothes were all black as his shoulders had gold decorations on it. And there was something even more impressive on his chest.

"Is that a Golden flame's blessing you're wearing? Weren't there only two of those ever given out, That must me you must be…"

"I am general Tate."

"You were the one of two people they sent to the front lines."

"Yes, my dear friend is still at the battlefront today. Yet despite how long he's been at the front lines he hasn't returned yet."

"What do you mean?"

"He's been to the front lines for over 50 years now."

"Well, recently people have been gaining an increased lifespan now."

"You probably don't even know his actual identity, but he's been fighting as many people throughout the history of the Hyeme Igni Empire."

"What do you mean?"

"That is as much as I can tell you."

"Ok then, let's get to the papers, as Madam Sarah is eager to join the academy."

"It must excite you to be joining the academy which is something that a very few princesses get to do."

"You mean I am not the only one?"

"You're grandmother joined the academy when she was young. She was as strong as an S class soldier when she finished the academy."

"Really?"

"Yes, and now you get to follow in her footsteps. Just sign here and it's finished."

Sarah immediately signed the paper and handed it back to him.

She jumped up and hugged Oliver.

"This is awesome Oliver, I never thought I would get a chance like this!"

"It comes at a significant cost though."

"Did you have to say that though?"

"No, no, I didn't."

"Alright, thank you General Tate for everything. Goodbye!"

"It was nice meeting you, Princess Sarah."

Sarah and Oliver said their goodbyes and left through the elevator for Sarah to start her slightly new life.
